    I love my new philodendron Brazil. Thanks for the help. One hint about purchasing. It grows fast so don’t buy a plant that’s too big for your intended spot. Smaller is better for this baby.

    I had mine hanging directly in my east facing window and missed to water it a lot. Amazingly it did very well. It wasn't my first choice of a plant but it is very reliable and tough plant. It's like pothos. Brazil and my neon pothos are growing together in the same pot. They compliment each other nicely.

    I absolutely love all the colors you use in your home to decorate with… I’m hoping you have a home tour video… I’m going to search after this video for one! If you don’t have one posted, may I suggest that for a future video? I love to see how people use houseplants in their home decor, where they place the plants, how they decorate with them, what colors they use with them, etc. Those are my favorite videos to watch! I love the plant care videos as well… But my favorite, probably because I’m already versed on plant care mostly, is where they’re placed and how they look in peoples’ homes.😁

    I was wondering, does Philodendron Brasil need distilled or rainwater instead of tap water? I live in the country and have well water. It's hard water and we don't use a softener. I was curious is this would be okay to use? My Heartleaf Philo doesn't mind right from the tap but because the Brasil is variegated I wasn't sure. Thanks for any help!

    I have two brazils and I absolutely love them! I have propagated them and planted the babies into another pot but have noticed it is growing like crazy. HOWEVER, all the leaves are not even a quarter of the size as the leaf I used to root! Could this plant already be outgrowing the pot? Also, I have beautiful coloration having it on my kitchen mantle about 15 feet from a north facing door. But, the leaves are very dull, should I fertilize? Lastly, I would like to see how large I can get the leaves so and trying to encourage them to climb. Is this a good idea? I feel like I am constantly tying the vies because the ariel roots are so tiny and not reaching out.

    • @SheffieldMadePlants
      @SheffieldMadePlants  Před rokem +1

      It might need more light. Small leaves and a dull colour suggests this. Check the roots though. Getting it to climb will be a nice idea
