Very interesting documentary. When I worked as a hedge fund manger, my Sharpe Ratio was around 10X higher than Cathie's Sharpe Ratio. I was in the business for less than 1 year, and moved on because it got kind of boring monitoring stock tickers all day long. I work in the data science space now, and I totally love it. Those past days of managing my fund were pretty enlightening though!!

But what were your annual returns and what bench mark were you trying to beat? Anyone can have extremely high Sharp ratios if you are ok with very low returns, especially over short periods in which the effect of short term statistical anomalies can have a heavier influence.

Very good narrarator, I was weary at first but as I began to listen eventually I came to find that I actually like this narrarator along with the original. Glad to see it, worthy of being a narrarator on this chanel that's for sure.

When she enters a position I know that stock needs to be avoided.
She got sliced off in the 2008 crisis (like most people) . Then surprise surprise, in the longest QE in history between 2010-2021, she made money (like most people)

Another amazing video dude, please keep it up! Not a huge fan of Cathie as her approaches are very simplistic IMO. I think her real ability is that she knew how to raise starting capital, and really knows how to leverage media to attract a customer base of APE's, which arguably are the most irrational investors on the planet lol

You really need to update the numbers. ARKK is worth less than half what you are saying today! Basically, it is worth about what is started with in 2019. Wood is NOT any sort of wonder-child! Heck, I had a much better ROI than her during those years, and all I do is play at investing! LoL
