I this video I am transforming my clients hair.
As you can see she has very dense textured hair…
In part 1- we lifted her natural base colour to a level 7 and did highlights on half the head.
I am now applying a customised mix toner to the whole head.
The toner was left on for 30 minutes before we rinsed it out.
As you know I don’t do much talking in my videos as they are made for you to relax and watch in peace.
However if you do have any questions or general remarks you leave them in the comments section below and I will try my best to respond with an answer.

As someone with a lot of thick, long natural hair, this stylist is a rare find. In my experience, most beauticians don’t want to deal with big long natural hair and they don’t know how apply color and heat without damaging your hair badly. I have given up on beauticians and I do my own hair. Sometimes it takes me two days, but I don’t want to compromise the health of my hair. Btw her color is beautiful! 😍

I feel all of you sistas... At least 3 days. The last time I went to a stylist for color and cut I ended up in the hospital 5 days... I was told all of her products were natural "soy"-based... I'm not allergic to soy!! Ended up cutting it off to about 2 inches. It just started breaking off in my hands. We're back thank God but not quite where we were. Prayerfully it'll all return

I had hair like that when I was a kid. I have had relaxed hair since age 15. Back in the day the hairdresser would put me under the dryer and it would be big and hard. I tried a short natural and had to wash it every day to comb.
I love the fact that as your flat ironed her hair you didn’t use big sections of hair which is correct and helps so you don’t have to run the iron more than one pass. Your patience is amazing and a blessing.

I know we are focused on her A-MAZ-ING hair but I must say - this woman won the genetic lotto in so many ways! That SMILE is a million watts bright! Just beautiful. I go to a salon I love and maybe my favorite part is the woman who washes my hair. She is careful, thorough and takes her time. I was transported back to my childhood kitchen where my mom washed my hair. I cried a few tears the first time (going through a lot) and she got so upset. She isn’t confident in her English so it required some help for her to understand I was grateful not upset! My Caucasian hair is crazy thick and coarse so any wrong moves in the shampoo make my hair into a tangled mop. I always tip her separately and well!
Goodness, she is beautiful…and so is her hair. So much work and care put into hair with this texture. I have nothing but respect and admiration for the effort.

I love how you massage and section parts of the hair when applying the shampoo and most especially the conditioner! Many people do not like, nor know how to care for thick hair.
Her hair came out stunning and it was glorious before too! The color, styling, and overall treatment are equally aligned with the love and patience. You can feel the good vibes through the screen! If I came across more stylist like you in my life my relationship with getting my hair done would have been a positive experience!

Beautiful job! My granddaughter has the tightest curled 4C hair ever! She is also THE MOST, tender headed person ever. Her hair when done, is just about the length of your models after the trim, but it looks maybe 4-5 inches long in her go to two puff style. Wish we lived near you... Again, excellent work

The entire process was beautiful from start to finish. 12 hours! Wow! Having thick hair, I started doing my own hair when I was younger, because the first thing many beauticians wanted to do was razor thin my hair complaining about the thickness if I requested a simple trimming of my ends. I hated that so I learned to do my own. I loved that you did not do that. Of course silk press wasn't around when I was younger. Currently I am starting all over with the natural regrowth of my hair since losing all of it to chemotherapy last year. I'm loving the new texture that's coming in since December 2021.

God bless you for your return to health. I am in total agreement with you, it’s time to leave the chemicals alone and transition to natural hair. I’m in my middle 60’s so you know that I’ve traveled along all of the roads of hair care. The “big chop” is actually easy but you have to be strong willed enough to remain comfortable with what type of hair that we have. I did it once but gave in and started to relax my hair again. This time I am determined to go back and stay back. Wishing you continued good health.

My grandmother decided to take care of her hair herself. On workdays she kept it in a bun. On Sundays it was usually in a French roll.

Hello, you can use concentrated apple cider vinegar and dilute it with water to completely eliminate the crust. It is applied twice every five days and placed on the hair for three minutes, then rinsed with cold water only without shampoo, then using natural corn oil for hair, where it is placed on the hair with a light swab and massage the hair after washing it.

Why did they want to cut her hair?
Cutting your grandmother's hair, sounds like it was a racist thing to me.
The level of professionalism, skill set and commitment to her client is unparalleled. As a Caucasian, I don’t know a single stylist that would have or could have done anything close to what we see here.
Crazy thing is you said her hair looks like Beyoncé’s hair. Beyoncé wears wigs and weave to get the looks she presents. This is her natural hair. Takes a lot to achieve this style. ❤

Bridgette Tucker, my thoughts are the same as yours. We've been brainwashed for so long to believe that straight & blonde is the standard of beauty. This young lady has hair women wish they had. Her thickness, color, coarse texture, length, and obviously healthy hair are a huge blessing. It's also the evidence of many Black women having absolutely no need for hair not growing from their own scalp. All my life, I've had the same hair as hers; was born with it. The only difference is my hair is auburn & lightens naturally when blow dried and/or sun exposed. To each his own, but I'd much rather see this young lady make use of the naturally gorgeous, God-given hair she was born with. She's quite lovely just as she is, hair & all. If she keeps up these featured "techniques," all that thick, long hair will be a thing of the past because it leads to hair loss & damage over time. Perhaps flat iron once in a while, but the less chemicals, the better.

When I tell friends that I spend 5 hours prepping my daughter's hair, from washing, conditioning, blowdrying to cornrows before she goes to the hair dresser to get some extensions in. People are shocked. Yes it takes that long or more if she's not up for it.💪💪💪Up the mother's.
Im on a natural hair journey growing my hair hair out. It takes about 2 1/2 hours just to wash it, condition it, and blow dry it.
