Sam said that he let Tommy die in the prison around the time that Ghostbur died and he has also done more bad things like cropping ponks arm off and torturing him
Philza is canonically a bad father to Techno, Wilbur and Tommy (I mean he killed his son first day on the server) and he doesn’t really pay much attention to them
