I would actually watch a news report presented by Ryan!
But only if he's wearing a suit.
woah
@@Argumemnon and only if he’s talking in that voice
@@Argumemnon and only if he says "barely an inconvenience" and "tight" at least once
Especially if he's wearing a fake mustache. Fake mustache Ryan is clearly the superior Ryan.
The fact that Ryan not only makes us laugh but slips in deep social critique is absolutely genius
I think it gets so funny because you immediately recognize what he's showing you.
His captain America sketch is comic and social critique gold!
Dawg just said the most generic comment ever 💀
Scary social critique is tight

@@bobsyme3118 Combining two of Ryan's catch phrases is tight!
That’s exactly what the news does…scare you into coming back 😝
Eek
Yo it’s that guy
And hurting you till you fart
The weatherman's pause after being questioned about his accuracy slayed me.
So they were right about the crime! OOOH MY GOD!
Had to go to a Appointment by train recently and mom went with me to go to the store after; The News said sunny and I told her I smelled rain and the air felt wet to me, ( the rain in our area smells like fish to me) but she wore decent weather clothes while I had a sweater tied around my waist just in case and . . . it rained.
Ok
Ryan George’s ability to summarize the past 100 years of news media history in 3 minutes is incredible.
So incredible it almost seems super easy barley an inconvenience xD
100 years of news media is quite a stretch.
@@soundscape26 How about 150? I'm sure 150+ years ago some people figured out how to deliver information and sometimes make it spicier to gain more audience.
@soundscape26 No its tight 😁.
@@hi_pd I meant the sensationalistic tone of news on TV (and beyond) was boosted in the last 20/30 years with a special emphasis on the internet/social media era.
There's always a middle ground though... deliver the news in bland way and nobody will listen to you. Moderation is key.
I love how everyone in the Ryan universe always greets each other with “hi there hello”
Oh this is special to him? I always thought it was a common Canadian greeting.
How else does one root out imposters?! I have heard stories of a civilization that once thrives in this world. The Ryan Empire would have none of it! Either you resemble Ryan are you are destroyed!!
@@DustinBarlow8P lol
I've incorporated this, like many of his catchphrases, into my daily life. It has been very little effort, hardly an issue.

Up to you, Ron.
It took me this long to realize that NEWS is the plural of NEW. I cannot just accept this.
1:39 oh I’m so happy the police officer from the vandalizing sketch finally got to the kitten!
I grew up in the 70s and that weather "graphic" was pretty accurate to what they had then! Weather people didn't have a clicker and a green screen. They had a dry erase board and a magic marker!
Even better they had to stand behind the glass and write backwards on it. I was fascinated with that. Our local weatherman was ambidextrous and even more fun.
Nah, they had a metal board and little magnetic cloud and Sun symbols like the graphic he had but smaller. Must've been a really primitive tv channel to use dry wipe pens. Bet the others had a lot of fun at the weatherman's expense by replacing them with permanent markers when he had his back turned.
czcams.com/video/XiAyWYCcAI0/video.html
Apparently, this is the first televised weather report..
really ? i watched tv from the 80s, and they already had graphs
It is still the same in Japan
This video shows how news channels have lost sight of their original purpose super easily, with barely an inconvenience.
Thats what happens when the objective of the news isn’t to inform, but to profit.
Forgetting your purpose is tight
@@MyBiPolarBearMax In capitalism, objective is always to profit. Can't blame the news for not being an altruistic non profit organization.

@@professorx3060 this is explicitly why a number of democratic countries actually have public news corporations. Unfortunately that has its own problems as teh government can interfere with coverage. I agree, though do not forget Ryan Reynolds and his ads.
@@Daergarz it's a Canadian Ryan thing
Hi there, hello. Oversimplified does entertaining ads as well.

Your videos never get tired! You somehow come up with a new way to keep the best, and make it fresh. On another note, poor Floorflap didn't get a line, but the cameo was still epic.

Literally the only youtube channel I don't skip creator made advertisements. God's gift to sketch comedy

Don't have to skip when they're at the very end when you can just stop watching!
Daniel Thrasher does a similar thing and he can be as funny or more sometimes.

I had to skip this one because Raycon's are trash.
The fact that Ryan can make the sponsored part of the video as entertaining as the video itself is insane. This video might have one of the funniest adstronaut moments.
I’m so glad i found this channel. I’m about to run out of pitch meetings to binge. You are a blessing, thank you for what you do.

Ryan is the best at trolling society. He makes it look super easy, barely an inconvenience
The criticism of society with mild sarcasm and explicitly accurate logic is not exactly trolling.
Most tactics of trolling are explicutly designed to bait a reaction from someone. The tactics include yet are not limited to: emotional triggers, false information, gaslighting, false concern, fake personas, a lack of authenticity, repetitious attempts to manipulate or repeat the cycle, etc.
Trolling society is tight.

As Always... Ryan has taught us a LESSON through HUMOR... Bravo sir!
This bloke is oh so true. Why do I have to get confronted with 30 seconds about some child who drowned or some father of six who got run over when I don't know the people and can do nothing to help them and end up in tears? The media, both print and television, have become ambulance chasers and pad out their "news" time with other people's private tragedies. I got sick of being upset and stressed out so I opted out of the entire media. Fortunately I don't "do" facebook and I never got into social media, so that's not a problem either.
I'd love to watch a News Show that got conflicts like these 👍🏼
That Weather man is too confident...
“And then he backflipped and broke the bad guys’ neck. Back to you, Don.”

A "Ryan George Universe" character - speaking in that very specific "Ryan George 'First Guy to Ever' Sketch" way - asking another "Ryan George Universe" clone across from him, "Why are you talking like that?" as that other Ryan speaks even MORE like that is truly fascinating.
(Also, this perfectly-timed upload helped me smile while I was crying and near-hyperventilating over the surprise knowledge that I may possibly need to move away this year, and I only had 20 minutes to pull myself together, so for this I am super grateful.)

Waiting on the “first guy to break the 4th wall” episode. He’d be communicating with us, audience, saying stuff like “Hello there, I’m gonna directly speak to the audience I decided”. And they’d have a whole argument on why it’s called the 4th wall.

I like that "hi there, hello" is the normal greeting in the Ryanese. Not to be confused with the more casual "freakin' hi there, hello". Beautiful language.
I often find quite a bit of beauty in the colloquial greetings of various cultures.
I was always a bit fond of the moderate Islam version. (In what is probably arabic?)
1: As-Salaam-Alaikum (may peace be upon you)
2. Alaikum-as-Salaam (and may peace be upon you as well)
