Don't sweat it. Keep cutting at this height instead of letting it grow to slowly lowering it again. Color will come back but short cut grass will always appear to be lighter that at longer heights. More of an optical illusion than anything else.

It will grow back even better. I recently cut mine from 20->17->14mm. Its getting bad. Lost colour, getting yellow. So Im going back incrementally to 20 hahaha. I should scalp, then reestablish new lower height, then keep it. Otherwise it will be yellow :(
Oh yeah! I mean I already went low and wanted to be at 7/8 just under an inch man that would have been an epic mow haha... but my head was somewhere else and didn't tighten the adjustment knobs 😂 it's all good next week i'll have a redo of this video ☺️🤙🏾

Cut a bit higher consider this a reset. I always cut 1.25 all spring and then go up to 1.75as summer hits back down in fall if weather allows

Need help! How close to a wall or obstacle will it cut? (Lawn surrounded by timber sleepers/fence). Also how close from the front will it cut too!
It cuts pretty close but I always have at least a 3” strip of grass I have to hit with the rotary scissors to get really close 😊🤙🏾🙏🏾🔥

I would stick to 3/4" or 7/8" and mow daily. Even if its raining unless its heavy rain. These manual reel mowers work fine in wet grass and frequent mowing will thicken the lawn during the growing season. You can back off to 3 times a week when the growing slows down. It will maintain its color also because only the tips will be clipped.

The mower height system is def off the 13mm setting is way lower I have to measure cause by adding the metal piece which is 7/8 to 13mm setting it should be 1.3 inches... but by adding 7/8 to 13mm setting its at 7/8's lol system is a little wonky but as long as it cuts nice I'm happy!
