Like hearing a lullaby sung by an old friend over a rotary phone. My wife, 50 and I 51, just heard this over our morning coffee. How sweet I thought it was bringing her to tears and then my tears came. Too much stuff has happened over the years, to all of us that have lived over these decades, good and horribly tragic, to express in a comment box. GNR and Axl's voice has seen us through it all. Now I know why old people cry when hearing old songs. It wipes away everything and brings us right back to the freest years of our lives when everything, good and bad, was still ahead of us.
I agree I'm 57 my deceased x husband would be 61 . It's amazing the years went so fast the best times we lived on Myrtle Beach S.C. we had a great life .
My wife passed away on October 21 last year so it's been 1 year and 1 month and 1 day now . Gnr always helps me cry and stay alive. Talk to me softly there is something in your eyes 😢

Wow! Sounds Great!!!! Its incredible to see Axl is in much better physical shape and lost the weight he had. Even more incredible is that he's really gotten his vocals in better shape and is singing in key as opposed to speaking the lyrics and not breathing properly. Very happy for Axl!!!

Because of that the sound/ volume level of Axl's voice is overpowered by the interior sound of the room. It needs to be an isolated mic line to get clear and audible vocal sound levels.

Long ago, when I was just 14, Mom and I were moving into a new apartment. I dropped a box and when I looked up.... time stopped. I saw a man, with blue eyes and shoulder length hair looked alot like Axl Rose. Instantly fell in love... Every time I saw this man my heart would beat out of my chest and my knees would go weak. His name was Bill Berry and we both lived in Mojave California. Only problem was I was 14 and he was 27. We became friends and he would play me this song on the guitar... I've never had that reaction to another man. I read somewhere that the Italians call this the thunderbolt. I wonder every now and again when I hear this song, how his life turned out. Wherever he is I wish him every happiness ❤
I appreciate the way he walks from end to end of his stage, as he performs. You could say it’s a work of art to walk away, and contemplate the message of patience. It’s so profoundly true to the stronghold of your marriage and family. Men ARE the stronghold of the family unit, coupled with the wife who is supremely faithful for the family. We are incredibly lucky to have lived long enough, and struggled hard enough for this miracle of endurance. Happy Thanksgiving.

In Saratoga NY when they performed this year the entire band really had their shit together, physically they looked like they all have been hitting the gym hard and their energy was unreal ...

Agreed. But after Izzy left they lost their secret sauce. He wrote some of their best stuff. But they probably had 1 or 2 more good albums. Axl wanted to focus rock operas and love ballads, the rest of the band wanted to rock out, and that was the difference.

Eu gosto muito do Axl: ele, Bruce Dickinson, Dio, coverdale, Michael kiske e Rob Halford são minhas influências e referências musicais. Quanto a voz, acredito que ele deveria seguir o caminho que Rob Halford vem fazendo por perder seus agudos, ou seja: cantar na região mais grave da voz. A voz do Axl nessa região é lindíssima. E a forma como as composições da banda foram construídas facilitam e muito essa modificação. Note a maioria do repertório a primeira parte das músicas é cantada numa oitava e depois ele muda para outra. Ele poderia fazer a maioria do repertório dos shows nessa oitava ( a mais grave) e não perderia em nada pois a região de barítono dele é ainda muito bonita encorpada e brilhante.

I will always love Guns N Roses....Handsdown the absolute best 80s band still great to hear Appetite For Destruction to this day .I think people need to cut Axl some slack alot of singers didnt even live thru there fame lil long almost 40 yrs later .Love Axl then n now
