- Hi friends! Ahh, well as 2019 draws to an end I thought I would share with you my end-of-year routine. It’s to do with setting personal goals for the following year, specifically using Law of Attraction. I’ve been following this since 2006, after reading a book called The Secret. It’s sort of freaky, but it works!
So this is how I get what I want out of life (and you can use Law of Attraction for non-material items too). I thought I would share with you my 2020 vision board and some of my personal goals.
If there are things that have been getting you down over the last year (or even decade) now is the time to dump all of that trash in 2019 - don’t let it follow you into the next decade! :)
I hope this helps and inspires any of you who are wanting to make real change to any aspects of your life (finances, relationships, career, health, lifestyle etc)

Money can buy freedom from student debt, medical debt, homelessness, and starvation. It can buy better health, and leisure as well. I fell like it can buy happiness, in a way. The folks who say that money doesn't buy happiness at all usually have never struggled much in their life, and they never had to worry about money.

I would actually love to have more financial advice videos from you. You seem like a very put-together kind of person. I do hate those yappy instagram-princess 13 year old lifestyle gurus who only can afford it cuz daddy gave it to her. And financial advice videos are always geared towards cutthroat, type A sharks. You are not a shark. You are nice, well-spoken, and honest. I really appreciate that.

I’ve never done a vision board, but when I was 20 I wrote down all of the traits that I wished for a spouse to have and then promptly forgot about it. I then dated people who were nothing like these traits, but then I met my husband and married him three years later. I found the list about five years after we were married and my husband had every trait I had listed on that list 10 years before.
Vision boards and the law of attraction works. It won’t work without help, but it does work.
How did you write it down? Did you put I want such n such in a husband or did you just write a bunch of words?
@@munchkineatsalotvent9899 probably just a simple list titled something like husband. I have several lists like that in the back of my notebooks. To me they don't seem to work also because of not having picked another kind of hubby. So in that sense this comment is essential. Know what you really want. I got thw beautiful but a bit too carefree hubby lol. But having lists keeps me going. In my case more about the journey and never reaching is sometimes ok.

A lot of other things were happening along the way & it was a HUGE leap from where I started. Found my old vision boards when I packed up to move here & got a chill. Paste on a wild dream & then start making changes toward a life that will support it. Taking the steps will make it happen with time. The wilder the dream, the more time & changes it’ll take to get it. This house is the result of a major life change. My realtor calls it Angel House because it was as if the angels handed it to me after an exhaustive search & literally years of work on a prior house to be able to afford it. Pour yourself into your dreams & stay positive. Little surprises will happen fairly quickly. Miracles take a little longer. But they’re out there!
A , don’t limit yourself. A dancer just joined the Rockettes despite being born without a hand. But she practiced dancing like crazy until then because she was passionate. Technology leaps forward & suddenly vision that needed bottle thick glasses is a quick surgical fix. Women are banned from everything in some countries & suddenly can drive, vote & travel. You can have multiple dreams! Do what you can toward your best life NOW, but put those dreams on your board so they’re out there in the universe. Then watch the doors start creaking open. It might not be exactly as you envisioned. There’s no can’t. Just not now because you can’t see what’s coming. Those bionic limbs for bomb blast survivors are the answer to somebody’s dream. 10% of ultramarathoners run their first race in their 50s! But they certainly got up, laced their shoes, & jogged around the block, never thinking they’d be able to run 100+ miles at an age some people expect to retire. Paste your dreams up there, take a small step forward toward something & remember the dream starts with YOU changing your attitude & approach to the world around you. Like those marathons, it takes practice to change your outlook from ain’t never gonna to leaving yourself open to the good things all around you just waiting to happen. Sometimes the darkest days are actually training for something you couldn’t handle without practice.
FYI...these are the only videos you make that I like. I'm that person who doesn't watch the luxury stuff. LOL. I find them repetitive. How many times do I want to watch another video about a handbag? Over it. But these type I LOVE. Thanks for posting this video. Found it interesting.

Manifestation tip: remove the 'negative people' and add whatever you DO want instead (positive people, interesting people, intelligent people, etc.). If you're focusing on negative people every time you look at your vision board, you'll attract more of them because you are giving your attention to it. Forget that negative people exist altogether and focus on what you'd like people to be. Works so much better and so much faster. Great video! :)
yess, and also a huge thing for this all to work is to pay attention on what you're writing or if you're doing mentally, don't focus on negative words like debt for example. You want to always transform a negative into a positive, like you said above, and an example would, instead of "i want to get rid of debt", use "i have enough money to pay for everything i need and more"!
yazzmt people don’t realize they surround themselves with negative people because those people have what they want. Those people can easily bring you low self-esteem. So surround yourself with people that will uplift you and help you get where you want to be.

That’s not easy when you’re family members are negative. It’s not a imperative if you can remove negative people pls do that. I’ve manifested things regardless of the negative people

@@brittnylaurel Hey LO :) I totally agree, you can definitely still manifest things with negative people in your life. That said, if your goal is to no longer experience negative people and you choose to remain focused on the negative people around you, you will attract more situations where you encounter the same kind of negativity. If you find yourself amongst a lot of negative people that seem to be influencing you and your life in a way that you're not comfortable with, there's actually an awesome and simple exercise that can help - I practice this every morning and it has completely changed my perspective of people, places, things, and ideas that used to negatively impact me. And because my perspective has changed, I no longer attract situations where i experience their negativity - instead, I experience their positive attributes and the things that used to bother me either no longer happen or no longer affect me. The process is this: make a short list of people, places, things or ideas that you have some resistance to. By resistance, I just mean any negative-feeling thoughts. Then go through and make a separate list of positive qualities for each item. Make your list of positive qualities as long as you possibly can, and review it occasionally to add more. Repeat every day and add new topics as they come up in your life (it only takes a few minutes). Remember that there is always a positive aspect to something, even if it seems completely terrible. Sometimes you just need to employ a little creativity to get there. I'm a little crazy and have an excel spreadsheet where I add, edit and organize my positive quality attributes and other manifestation processes lol - it's really fun and starts my day off on a great foot so I always make time for it. Retirement in 2019 was a gift. Now I pick and choose what I do and who I treat. 2020 is my year of new adventures.have used vision boards my entire career since 1985. Always helped me focus to achieve goals.
Sophie I love your board...one suggestion - change “negative people” to attracting Positive People. Remember you get MORE of what you focus on...you don’t want to attract negative people. 🌻

Weird but true. I did a vision board MANY years ago and I left it hung in my closet. For many years when I was cleaning one day I looked at it and laughed cuz I had 80% of the stuff I wanted on it.

I’m watching! I love these types of videos......not so much for me personally as I’m in my 50’s and my husband and I are very fortunate to be financially stable, but I think these videos are so important for people starting off in life or are having financial difficulties. My husband and I were very good with our money in our early years and did make sacrifices in order to pay debt off. My fear for the future generations is that they are not going to be able to afford to buy homes as prices where I live in Canada (just outside Toronto) are ridiculous. I do believe in positive thinking and the law of attraction. I’m always open to watching more videos like this Sophie. Thank you.😊❤️🙏

Hi Sophie, thank you so much for sharing! I started my own vision board after watching your videos and it really helps with keeping my goals on track. I never realised how many things I keep saying I'll do or get, but the push it back due to "not needing it now" or just forgetting it. But the things I wanted never really changed. Seeing the board forced me to work towards it and boy the satisfaction of taken things down after achieving it! I can visually see m life moving forward now and it feels great. THANK YOU!

I always make goals each year but after watching one of your previous videos, I've started creating a vision board. It's crazy how the Law of Attraction works, I've achieved so much this past year and looking back I can't quite believe it. Especially when at the beginning of the year I didn't know how some of those goals would be achieved! Your videos have helped me feel super motivated for another amazing year ahead!

Actually my sister and I love these videos the best, (even) more than the luxury stuff videos. It's these videos where you talk about how you were in a terrible situation with your debt and health issues and how you got to where you are, beating all those problems, that are really inspirational. Sophie, I personally love your videos where you talk about your work, personal goals, and finances! I do also think the vision board is a great idea. I don’t really own a board but I always have goals in mind and I’ve really worked hard on them past 7 years since college. Two of the goals were regarding my salary and buying a house. Now I make double of what I used to make 7 years ago, and my husband and I own a family home together! If you have goals and you work hard for them, they will come true!! You are the 3rd Vlogger, I've watched this week that has mentioned the "Law of Attraction"! I was taught that Principle a long time ago! And for those who are Religious & feel this might be kind of "Weird" to take on as a "Belief", let me say this...there are SEVERAL places in the Bible that mentions about the way you think affecting your Life for good or bad! You definitely draw those things to you that you concentrate on! Positive & Negative Energies MATTER & can even affect Wellness or Sickness in your Life & even Future Generations, who follow you! This is so weird because I was saying to my best friend yesterday that I was really starting to believe in the lawvof attraction. Thanks, in part, to your brilliant videos. And now I've just seen this! And my life is going so well in terms of my job because I'm really believing that if I work hard, I can acheive what I want. And it's working already! Sophie, I don’t comment on your videos, but I religiously watch each one withe great excitement. As an aspiring professional in the corporate world, you way of thinking, advice and mindset really helps me and visualises what I want to be one day. Thank you! I love the diversity you create on your channel! I love each of the topics but I should admit sometimes the shopping just gets a tad bit too much for myself personally, regardless of how much I like shopping and luxury but I know there are people that are all about it, so those would be much appreciated by them. I saw the movies The Sectret and What the Bleep Do We Know when I was battling breast cancer for he second time in my life, in 2007. That was what got me through times of disbelief, doubt and fear, when I felt hopeless.
“Thoughts become things” and “a thought can be changed” - a quote by Louise Hay are always my pit stops, when I feel stuck and need to regroup.
So, if anyone still has doubts, try it, it might help you.
