- Kayak fishing on the Wisconsin River. I carried the Perception Hook kayak down a rocky slope to access a small pool of the river over bedrock. Scouting for a spot for Nat to catch a bunch of walleyes.

Yep, it was 38*F and windy, snowing occasionally.
Nice video. That spot is down the road from my house. Quite a variety of water in that short, but interesting stretch.

I've heard there are burbot there too. I was secretly hoping for one of those (never caught one).

@@DpuckFishingandOutdoors They are somewhat common around here but hide in deep rocky areas and they rarely come out during the day. Ice fishing at night is when most people get them.

I love having both of them for different reasons. The PDL is an amazing trolling machine and great for lakes. The Hook is unbeatable in my opinion for small rivers and difficult access points. It's an amazing value for such a capable kayak.
