The fact that I have been watching this man play games for almost ten years, and he is still as inept at driving as ever, is almost...inspirational. Dan, I don't know how you do it.

I was not a very old person when I started watching and I am still not very old. Yet it still feels like a long long time
Classic Dan content. Drive a car, crash car, get car stuck, run out of fuel, take a long hike only to realise for whatever reason you can't get fuel (the lost jerry can comes to mind), contemplates ending things, then fails at that too.
I live in Canada and all of this is 100% accurate besides the fact that there isn't a deer every 0.1 kilometer you drive.
He did say it was early access, so they'll probably add it in the next update

Yet he drove off a cliff and was perfectly fine so airbags are clearly useless anyway.

As a Canadian, I'm offended by the lack of realism. They included the maple syrup, poutine, energy, and anxiety meters that we all have, but they forgot to include the politeness meter. 0/10
An important part of UI design is making sure that you don't overload the player with redundant information. Since you know you're playing as a Canadian, it's obvious that the Politeness meter would always be full.
Oh, the game is clearly set in Quebec, so the politeness meter wasn't necessary. Frankly, that looks like a very accurate simulation of Quebec rural life.
What is this "Spring" the game talks about? My area of Canada has the seasons Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Construction. That last one is an absolute pain as we can get nothing done during that season.

A game from my home state Québec! Saint-clin-du-fin-fond means a village so far away from civilization, we have alot of villages that's starts with saint and are far from major cities.
As a Canadian I can't wait to watch this! No idea what it is, but it's from my neck o' the woods!
To give you an idea of our pronunciation, "Saint-Clin du Fin-Fond": Saint, Clin and Fin all have the same vowel pronunciation, as does the Crink, which is our French pronunciation for the English word Crank, which was what you were using to winch the car!

I don't understand why cars have a neutral gear why for.
For any scenario in which you would need to move a car outside of its own power (well, unless its getting lifted by a crane onto a flatbed or something) such as towing or getting out and pushing. If you tried to do it in drive the wheels would still be connected to the internals so you'd risk damaging something, and you'd have to work against all the friction and mass of every moving part rather than just the wheels.
