I like the fact that TCM has the same Hawaii map setting as TDU1 plus TDU2 (without Ibiza)
TDSU gets bonus points for letting each car have its own unique redline sound.
the TT RS didn't have any rev bouncer though
@@Thorfinn0607 some cars don't bounce revs as it has an engine-protector from what I know. I asked one guy with a GT-R once to rev his car, and it was quite meh, he said it had some protection.
And everything else in the game is trash, congrats.
the 4C’s limiter in TDU 😩
Yeah, you can already see TDU has a vibe to it, don't know what it is, but it's looking good. Might be the absence of generic sounds and movements of the trees/foliage and also the speed effect and atmosphere density looks like a good upgrade. There was also some early gameplay in TDU in a carpark, the reverb sounds were amazing, let's hope it's thing!
What's up with the gear ratios in TCM? Corvette goes to 200kph on 3rd gear in TDU SC but barely goes to 150 on 4th gear in TCM...

In TDUSC I find it sound more like a Audi R8 that an Viper, but both are a V10 haha. The TCM version are more acurate to real sound.
5 Cylinders are just half V10s

Big reason why I stop playing it I do love cars but it's just cartoonish I just really like the steering wheel animation

Test Drive does look very good, but I won't be playing it any more than I would the Crew since they are both stuck as online games. I just came to see the graphical differences between the two titles. With the exception of Star Citizen, I generally don't buy or play online games.

@@1eyepaul No, it does not sound realistic I agree, it sounds more like the current 595 with "Paaaaaaarping" Sport mode turned on, but that does mean it sounds a lot Fruitier! It sounds better. These are *Arcade* Racers, where it is better to sound good than to sound Real.
@simeonyves5940 I'd much rather it sound real than good, If I'm paying real money for a game, I'd want that game to be the best it could possibly be. Graphics is a pretty big deal, too, tdusc even in demo looks better than tcm. I would much rather spend my money on tdusc.
@@1eyepaul TDUSC is Poison to me, and Motorfest is not much better Either, both have unacceptable content issues for me.
However, when it comes to Arcade racers, as opposed to a Sim (such as Assetto Corsa, where I do expect Maximum Realism), I prefer the Cars to sound Good, rather than real (even if TCM's E-Type is more real sounding as it has the Carbs Spit back on the Overrun, TDUSC's E-Type behaves more Realistically as it is very smooth even at low Revs which is an SU Characteristic while the one in TCM Hunts and Snuffles at low Revs like it is on Webers, which is a lot less realistic as the E-Type uses SU's) to feel Good (enough weight and momentum and grip to feel real, but enough arcade for them to be chuckable and so they can be hooned even with a Pad) rather than so real that the Game basically all but mandates a Moza, and I would rather the Game looked good with beautiful lighting and Stunning, Dreamscape, scenery, rather than Brown and Grey urban Squalor and Rural Poverty with a nasty dose of "next gen pee filter" realism.
It is Sim's where I want Maximum Realism in Sound, Physics and Visuals, but with Arcade, I like a little bit of flair!

The engine sounds of Tdu are incredible and very close to reality, those of The Crew are horrible with this added ultrasound, we are far from reality. The engine sounds are far too artificial and lack identity

I preffer some sounds in Motorfest, and if someone disagrees, then f*ck off, i dont wanna start an argument in the comments with people stating what sounds better and that im wrong, cuz this is MY OPINION, AND IM FINE WITH IT, I DONT CARE IF TDU SOUNDS MORE REALISTIC, I PREFFER SOMETHING UNREALISTIC AND COOL OVER SOMETHING REALISTIC THAT I DONT LIKE, take the electric cars in Motorfest for example, do they sound realistic? Abarth 500 : Neither get the right note, they sound very generic inline 4.
Alfa 4c : Idk, same as the abarth ? neither doesn't match the real one.
TTRS : too high pitch in TDU, TCM is close but doesn't have oem exhaust.
M4 : TDU have zero inertia and not enough bass, TCM is closer but they both lack those little pops on decel.
C7 ZR1: Tone is right in TDU need more depth and bass but overall good, TCM sound like generic crossplane V8.
Jag type E : lacking rawness and angriness of the 4.2L on TDU (engine, zero inertia), TCM is ok
370Z : were are the trumpets on both games ? TDU sound like a generic flat 6 or BMW inline turbo, TCM idk but not close to the real either.
Beetle: Zero inertia on TDU again, at least TCM is quite accurate it's not a race engine at all, it takes time to rev.
