We do care about Lil Bob’s carburetor!
I knew you did! 😃 Thank you!
I care about little Bob

Hi Amy and Doug Larson,
I just wanted to say your videos have been a blessing to me. I am a sixth generation farmer from Ohio. I inherited my family’s operation this past December 2023 after the sudden passing of my right hand man on our operation my Father. The 2024 season is definitely going to be different and tough since it is just my mom and I running the show. My parents have to known each other since the third grade and were high school sweethearts. My dad was also a 34 year retired Captain firefighter. My family has been farming now for over 160 years.
I just want to say cherish every moment you have with Doug and the family. I never thought at 30 years I would be taking over the business unexpectedly. I just hope I can make my father proud.
I am sorry for your loss. You have a solid foundation of heritage and hard work to stand on. It will be difficult. The sun will come up. You will do well. Prayers for you and your mom. 🙏☀️ 🚜
@@amysblessings Thank you for the kind words.
Congratulations on your 160+ years of farming! My grandparents also grew up on a farm, in Pennsylvania. Back in the 1880's they had a spring, and the milk containers would sit in the cold water to keep them cold in the summer, with 40F water flowing by the steel tanks in 12" holes in the floor of the cold room. They would also cut ice from nearby lakes to store for use in the summer!
Sorry to hear about the passing of your father.
Amy and Dougo I hope your township residents appreciate you both for all you do to TRY and improve your roads. I APPRECIATE your service and I KNOW Larson Farms takes pride in keeping the roads in mint condition when the guys are in and out of the fields. Because I've seen you guys fixing your roads when you have gotten mud and debris on the roadways. You guys rock💯
Thank you ☺️
I look forward to the Sunday visits with Doug and Amy! God bless you both!
What a beautiful couple, they fit each other so well!
Thank you Amy and Doug for your service on your local Township. Thanks for explaining just a few of your duties on the township and how some of the FEMA programs work.
You guys do such an awesome job. We really appreciate all that you do. Great video 👍❤️
I so love just sitting watching you two. Your hole family are all so great. I am homebound. Can’t be out in the community because of compromised immune system so I live off of watching great people like y’all on CZcams.i get to see the world parts of this great country I will never get to see.
Glad to see you carry a pew pew 😀👍 you just never know when a critter might need taking care of
Pick up that sign Mr Dougo 😊
Your township is lucky to have level headed people like you and Doug to do the work.
You two always make my sunday's. Take care and have a great week.
Y’all are so funny together. Our county just plows the shoulder dirt up onto the road.
I see what’s in the back seat Dougo. The beaver was going to take a nap you might say. Lol
Lol.
Doug’s, your explanation of the difference between a gravel road and a dirt road was exactly right. Southwest, Minnesota
My wife calls gravel roads dirt roads. I'm going to show her the video so she can tell the difference.
I love ALL of the Larson videos. From a LONG time subscriber please carry on😉
To see what goes on behind the scenes in township government was surprisingly interesting to me. Bless people like you who are willing to do it. I’m sure you get your share of abuse.
Dougos hairdo, looks like mo from 3 stooges😅😅😅😅
Ytou two are amazing when you ride together
Well after watching your road assessment l am so fortunate we have over 90% of ours covered with asphalt. People only care to have their taxes paying for what affects them and no one else. It’s a dirty thankless job being a town official but someone has to do it. Thanks to both of you for your service.
I enjoy the time with Amy and Dougo.. just doing whatever.. keep it coming.. from Southwestern Ontario Canada...
I recall being on the farm going for a Sunday drive "looking at the fields". Thanks for the memories.
You bet!
I enjoy the gravel roads, Little Bob, fix the carburetor, or, better yet, replace it with a 4 bbl Holley. Gravel trailer, it's all good 👍 whatever you two want to talk about. It's just fun to ride along. 😊
❤🚜🇺🇸🤍🚜🇺🇸💙🚜🇺🇸
Dougo and Amy, in East Tennessee we quarry limestone rocks and crush it into various sizes for different uses, typically the finish gravel is about 3/4 in.
Sunday’s highlight Amy and Dougo. Thanks for bringing us along many blessings to you both
Our pleasure!
When Chet started the farm channel, was there ever a thought that you two at would start your own? Speaking of, Millennial Farmer did a video of the farms history with his dad and what his dad thoughts were when he started the channel. I would love for to see something similar with Chet and Dougo.
With Mr Merlin too!
I enjoyed hearing how the township works.
Bob's carburetor is just as important as a heart. Hot to keep them both clean and healthy.
Love hearing Dougo talk through life. His stream of thoughts is hilarious
You two crack me up‼️ I absolutely love watching you both together talking, sharing and figuring it all out together! It’s like we are all together, riding along for a Sunday afternoon drive! We always learn something no matter what we are doing together! Thanks for sharing Ms. Amy Larson! Sending Blessings to you and Mr. Dougo and all the family at Larson Farm. God is good! ❤
Doug’s face when not wearing his seatbelt was great 😂
Dougo you 2 are absolutely adorable never get bored you two.
wind turbines have been horrible here in S Ontario. Neighbours ending up hating each other when one farm ops in and the others don't. The horrible noise and constant break downs. Lets hope that it doesnt do the same in your area. Love the content, Cheers from Ont.
I enjoy watching you guys! Dougo is the best!!!!
Little Bobs carb and township roads. Larson’s make fun. ❤
Amy you and Dougo are the best GOD BLESS you both much enjoyment❤❤❤❤
Keep making these great videos.
Try proclipusa, they make specific phone mounts for the Ram and Durango.
Other than Dougo our second favorite character on the Larson show is little bob!
That was a fun Sunday afternoon drive, have a great week!
Love every video but the everyday life of Dougo and Amy is great content and a 30min videos are icing on the cake!
Have a great evening.
As always, guys it's fun tagging along on your adventures, God bless
Your actually quite blessed if that's what your county rds look like compared to Indiana.
Hmm. Bummer.
You guys are like a couple of teenagers. lol
God Bless.
I love it when you two do videos like this one. Road maintenance is very important to all those who use them
I look forward to Sunday and your road trips. Please keep them coming.

I love watch in your eyes when Dougo driving lol.
Write it down Amy!!
if you put Stabilizer (additive) in Little Bobs gas tank in the fall, run it for a few minutes it will not gum up the carburetors during the year. It works Awesome!
Good looking belly dump!
Yes we enjoy you both Amy and even more the world view of Dougo lol thanks for taking us along
This will be my wife and i this summer. When i was growing up in Kensington 50 years ago we always laughed at the older people that we checking fields😅
❤️Love the Sunday videos from my favorite CZcams couple!!!
We love hearing about LiL Bob 2 and the Township and Dougo outlook on life
Hello from New Zealand
keep the great videos comming Amy &Dougo
It is fun, funny with you guys Amy's funny like a real girl would be about stuff and Doug's funny like a real guy with the girl he loves forever and just laughs at her, and inside he is saying thank God I have her as he just looks at her and smiles at everything she says and does, thank you guys for sharing your life with all of us. Joshua Nichols from the eastern shore of Maryland this is farm country here too be safe God bless
Dougo whenever I fill my fuel cans I put the 1st - 2 gallons in my truck to flush the line on the pump. Then add some fuel additives for moisture. I think I would buy a new carburetor and then you have a clean spare.
Go little bob 😊
Great video. You two are fun to watch. :)
Little Bob giving you fits
May I suggest a little Bob cartoon look for the merch store Amy?
Keep em comming , love the way amy keeps duggo on track !!😂
Im in Illinois and we call it gravel or rock. Our gravel is crushed limestone from a quarry. Our soil here typically is very poor where im at and the PH was 4.9 on some that I bought. We add the powdered limestone to raise the PH. If you had limestone gravel you would like it on your roads. 1-1/2" minus is what is used on roads like yours. It would have 1-1/2" rock and smaller all the way to dust. It will pack and stay in place due to the irregular shaped pieces and the powdered lime within. The gravel that I remember like yours always seems to crawl and seems muddy. But you gotta work with what you have! Always enjoy watching you two interact. Doug needs to sell a book of off camera moments of whats on his mind !
My dad was a township trustee, so was in tune with the roads also.
Another fun time video with Amy and Doug; thank you. My daughter's FIL does Doug's township job for a township a half hour NE of Alexandria and I enjoy his stories of road maintenance, also.
Cool. And thank you ☺️
It is fun being on a Township board, I am also a clerk in SD Township and went through many different years of FEMA disasters, we have been spending lots on gravel also but have been keeping up with it. Fortunately we raised our levy many years ago to be able to work on projects
My day is complete now with your video! 😊 Amy, my Mom used to sing that song. Thank you for making me smile again. We all love Lil Bob & are concerned for him. 😉
Dougo, had you whipped out your "pew pew" & took care of Mr. Beaver, we would have cheered! Carry on
Here in Wisconsin we have limestone and they crush it to size. Here they go into a hillside and drill and blast off a cliff of rock them crush it. There are some walls that are 80 to 100 ft high around here.
Your minimum maintenance roads are highways in Northern Canada!
Oh dear.
Use Sea Foam....in little Bob....once you get the carb. cleaned use it in every tank of fuel....always works for me...everything start right up after sitting all winter long....
Great insight into the more complex side of living there
Can’t believe the roads are not paved in Minnesota..U live in Va and the roads are paved in most counties..have a blessed day
I always enjoy watching you guys and also watching the guys at the shop. Never a dull moment. Keep up the good work on your videos!!!!
Amy and Dougo thanks for another great video.
I thought it was super interesting and enjoyable video.
Reminds me of when my dad and I would patrol the gravel roads looking at county drainage ditches that needed cleaning out and where built up with soil that needed to be taken out so the water would flow again.
I thought you two out patrolling the gravel roads was most interesting. Not only the conditions of the gravel road but whatever else you might run across. Down in Iowa we have our fair share of the B class of road which is the minimum maintenance type of road. In other words a mud road-bad news when wet!!!!!!!! Oh my!!!!!!
Amy get a pen clip for your magic markers and pin them to your vest. Office supply store or Amazon has them. You would like it. I
BIG thanks to both of you for patrolling the roads and telling the county crews where to gravel. Good job done !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice of you to do that.
I really enjoyed your conversations today as you both motored along. Thought it was neat!!!!!! Thanks for filming.
Appreciate the both of you. You are good people.
Oh by the way, I agree with taking the carburetor off of little Bob and cleaning it out. Needs doing.
Thanks for everything amy and Dougo.
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Back in the day we did our township roads in June, so if it was too wet to cultivate then we’d do roads. Chet might be too young to remember cultivating but I’m sure Dougo does!
Doug remembers. I remember how the soybeans greened up after the cultivating was done.
You to make a great team
Yes please make longer videos remines me of my dad
Mom passed away 24 yrs ago at 52 cancer dad passed away 7 years ago and we would go look at road in northern Aroostook county Maine fort fair field
Enjoy all video God bless an enjoy life it sometimes to short
Awesome Doug and Amy thanks for all the information God bless you 🙏🙏
Amy, do you do all the FSA paperwork too????? When I was CED in my county where the Embarras River runs into the Wabash and we had a huge levee blow out! After long days and nights I got $35 mil. for my farmers/farmer landowners and landowners. The Historical Society has a huge display and there are several videos...one official! I might let you know...I'm retired after 42 years!!!! I loved almost every minute of it...kinda like farming!
You have to love those rides together, wife and I love to take a afternoon ride on the backcountry roads. Yup checking those townships roads are important
lol, Amy is marking for gravel and Dougo is marking for possible beavers. It should be interesting where the gravel winds up. 😊
I call what you guys doing window farming. I do it several times a week.
Dougo little Bob2 carburetor needs taken completely apart and boiled in safety kleen and that will fix it. The best way to keep it good is install a fuel shutoff and run it till the carb is dry.
Last fall my neighbor lent his 5hp chipper to his brother. It came back unused because they couldn't get it started. The brother has a lawn service mow his lawn, so he has no need to buy gas. The problem is he still had a gas can in his garage with who knows how old gas in it. The stuff smelled like marine varnish. 200 bucks later and a trip to the repair guy it now runs. Every time my neighbor lends something it costs him money.
I enjoy your channel...and today the gravel video was great.
The vlotterpin gets rusty and sticks tight to the bottem, cause gas contains a little water. Take vlotter out and clean it with sandpaper.
Mrs Amy cracking that whip on Dougo! We look at roads as 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel drive, or mud truck.
In northwest Montana we have gravel pits and if you want gravel they’ll crush it down. We call it 3/4” crush here. You can also get 3” minus which works great for pads and road base and then cap it with 3/4”crush. The clay here will swallow 3/4 crush here. It’s pretty pointless to put it on clay because the clay will absorbs it.
You need to get your grader operator to crown up some of them water filled spots and cut that ridge on the side of the road. We try to maintain a 26ft top but the contractors like to cheat a bit and run a 14ft mold board that would require 3 blade widths instead of running with the extension to 16 ft and do 2 wide . IYKYK paid by the hour
Nice video alway a no win situation on the road maintenance. I think you got Chris from Iowa safety vest sure miss his funny comments but also like Jordan he's coming in to the group this year.
Amy singing 😊😊
Love each video. Watch each Sunday.
Dougo admiring the new to him LoadKing
Thanks
Fun stuff, Amy & DOUGO
You 2 are great , love your videos
..... Sundays is 'prime hours ' in (CZcams video/channel).... Blessings to all (....Amy and Dougo ❤😊)
Your road inspection reminds me doing it my uncle after the frost went out. I lived in Carlton County. Also putting up snow fence
Here in Illinois we crush your gravel.
That job would suite me, riding round rural Minnnesota for an hour or 2. would it be worth me flying over from the UK? Love your vids and watching the farm vids, you all seem to enjoy life so much. Thank you! all the best from the UK
We have minimum maintenance or seasonally maintained roads in NYS Jefferson and Oswego county where I live as well as huge Dairy Farms.
Pretty cool! Glad you guys got to do that. Are you guys selling your camper to get out of camping?
We were only looking at campers. We don’t own one. ☺️
