I purchased a Reon Pocket 2 (May 2021). Here's the deal. For those of you that sweat all day every day, this is not a game changer. Not whatsoever. It is not an "air conditioned shirt" as advertised. Rather, it is an electronic cooling pad appx 1.5x3.0 inches that rests on the back of your neck. And in that respect it works incredibly well. It legitimately provides a cooling surface area on the back of the neck. it cannot offset any sort of serious heat/discomfort. For those in an office setting that are just a wee-bit too warm, this device would be awesome! Otherwise, unless you have appx 200 USD to burn, or you are completely desperate for cooling relief, or you simply enjoy the latest and greatest nifty technologies (which the Reon Pocket certainly is), then this device is a hard pass.
thank you for the review :) one thing though, I wished you didn't put the music when you turned it on, it would be nice to hear how loud it is. other than that i am happy you did the review as you're the only one here doing a hands-on in english
@@xspace8896 Here is some reassurance for English speakers like me. Just do what xspace suggests. for the most part I'm a complete dunce about cell phones (hell, I'm 50yo) yet I was able to get my Reon Pocket 2 up-and-running in 20 minutes. Thanks xspace!
@@helloian Get the Neon Pocket APK files by google search. And to make APK files run just like an app, download the APKPure app. Done these? (btw I'm talking android if you have iphone I can't help)
Does it only work in contact with your skin? Can it reduce the temperature of your surroundings, eg if your chair retains heat and you wanna cool it down, would it work?
Well, my Coolify definitely attracts attention but I just bought version 2 so this isn’t financially practical for me at the moment. When it is, I’ll get one as an alternative like in meetings, as you noted.
I need this for my daily routine. I have hyperhidrosis that happens because of a drastic increase in my body temperature. This could prevent excessive sweating from happens. But I can't buy it because I'm outside of Japan.
Yo. I have hyperhidrosis, too. It's quite embarrassing. Today, my Reon Pocket 2 arrived. I'll let you know my thoughts in a week or so (remind me if I don't follow up)
@@pascashtube by the way, have you tried Glycopyrrol? It's a Rx prescribed by dermatologists. Cuts my sweating by 50%. Gives me dry mouth something fierce, tho.
@@tna_handyandy5173 I havent consume any drugs or medication, i'm prefer not to. Glycopyrrol also reduce your saliva, so i guess thats why... I'm looking forward to buy this device, still try to find how to import this from japan.
What a joke of a thing! You NEED to use an app to get it to work - IF that 'app' works at all on your device... (AND if your phone and this thing will connect via bluetooth?) It's 99% gimmick i'm sure, feels cold; yet does not cool? One or two watts won't do anything to your body temperature, just cools a patch of skin enough to feel...
Thanks for the effort.. you are literally the only non Japanese channel that has actually review of this product
Most reviews of it on CZcams are Chinese though.

@@tna_handyandy5173 hi, I've the same problem. Any updates?
Wow, this was so much better than reading an article, plus video of it in use (SARCASM). This was just reading an article with no video of it in use.
So is this worth $200 or nah?
