The collateral capabilities of cloudstrike (amazing alliteration) make it quite a fun sniper to use on occasion. But it has more flinch then just about every sniper in the game. That mixed with poor handling causes me to only use it in control
Yeah it’s pretty much stritctly useful for that. Without that perk, I wouldn’t use it
And the fact that it has some of the lowest aim assist of all the high zoom snipers.
Cloudstrike is my main sniper in every crucible activity lmao. I have mastered the art of lightning and when u do, it pays of very well.

I’d say Cloudstrikes ok at Trials. I personally don’t use it much in trials but I have seen people put in work with it

@@SirDimetrious just use only whatever weapons and armor Xur sells each week and see if you get anything actually useable
@@SirDimetrious exotics, armour and weapons that Xur has every weekend. He’s on the hanger in the tower this weekend. So the idea is run the exotic weapon he’s offering the exotic armour piece, and fill in the rest of the load out using the other weapons and armour he offers.

I'm just amazed at how much better your editing has become.
This gun is the one that took me a few months to get used to- after having around 2-3 months tied to it it quickly became my favorite sniper to play with in 3v3, control, and even rumble, in rumble the satisfaction of a third party downing both of them is so fun.. The only downside is its a hackers favorite sniper too because the lightning kills don't count as headshots so it makes the hs ratio look 'legit'
Anyone gonna talk about the snipe at 2:59? SirD literally shoots the wall to secure the kill. Slow it down lol. The second shot does body shot damage, but then it counts as a headshot in the kill feed. Legendary

The not seeing enemies on the map is a new features. But seriously that's been happening to me a lot lately. I'll scope a lane nothing, I'll start to walk nothing on the map, turn the corner and the whole team is there. Or all of a sudden I'll have someone next to me where there wasn't anyone.

I’ve been trying to learn how to snipe for a long time and I finally got an good sniper-and good uzume with snapshot sites-but I still suck. Snipers are not for me.
But it’s guys like Sird who make me want to learn to snipe…
Just gotta practice until you absolutely loathe the weapon. Only then will it begin to click with you.

It’s mostly anticipation and good crosshair placement. However in a game like destiny. Flinch is brutal. The best way to snipe is to hold an angle that’s a little different then the norm. Doesn’t matter if you’re Johnny no hands or the crown and jewel of faze Illcams. Flinch fucks all of us up lol

I mainly use cloudstrike, it’s a difficult sniper to get used to, but it’s fun once you get the hang of it! Cap point trials is where it shines though
I have been using cloudstrike for a good amount of time and I think that's why it feels so good. It's honestly hard for me to use any other sniper now. I've gotten so used to the zoom that everything else feels off. In trials it's super clutch especially when you wipe a whole squad right off the bat
