I enjoyed this video so much. As a single woman living internationally, I love the moments when my married sisters in Christ have me over or invite me to events so I can see how they connect with their families. Those moments where they are patiently answering a difficult question from their kids, disciplining kids or simply discussing something respectfully with their husbands helps bring the Word to life for me (as Jackie stated). I thanked one sister by saying I didn’t see many godly marriages growing up and she was proving an example. On my birthday last week, they prayed over me and I felt so loved. I thank God for them.
I struggled to go back to physical church after the pandemic, it has taken 3 years to finally gather the strength to enjoy the word with my kingdom community FACE TO FACE. Iv been back a little over a month now and I cannot believe that I once felt that watching from home was enough, It could never be.
I'm still finding this to be a challenge for me more because of church hurt that I've experienced. It just feels *safe* to do church from behind a screen. Your testimony is encouraging. I pray the Lord will lead me to the community he would have me grow in

I enjoy this moment, i pray we find bk the place of holiness n not self righteousness . It’s sooooo important to live according to the Word of Truth n not rephrasing scriptures. Its God over man, holiness over self righteousness, truth over lie. Jesus is truth we need to follow him bible say look to the rock. I’m hurt to see how far the church is from God yes I know that there are remnants but large portions of church is in a backsliding state.
I thank God for the godly older women He has lovingly added to my life who encourage me and pray for me and I experience the love of Christ through their obedience to Him in the ways they lovingly point me to Christ when I tell them about my struggles. Anyone praying for godly friends, continue to trust God. He will provide this wonderful desire of your heart. No good thing does He withhold from us
This is extremely important... I'm learning... I like the part where you can look out for a Paul (a mature believer) and a Timate (Young growing believer) where there's levels of accountability & a iron sharpens iron discipleship. Glory to God.

This is great and how it should be older women discipline the younger. The sad part is that most people at church do not want to open up their home or share their life . I do invite people over my home and invite them for tea or anything else sadly it is not reciprocated. I can only connect in my bible study but most people don’t want to take it outside the walls of the church . I have gone to disciple younger women at a pregnancy home as I know it’s my duty .

I've went to so many "sisters n brothers" in my weaker times (Especially this past year ) asking for help cuz faith wears thin sometimes... sometimes SOME of us are humble and strong enough to say "I need help being holy" ... n EVERYTIME I've been met w resistance. Looked at like in crazy. N these were people I admired so greatly n deeply n really felt like they were so strong n so wise n had the love of Jesus in em... but no. Heartbreak. I just keep going to Jesus over n over n over w no help from people but YALL! Internet ministry. Sad in a way. But a blessing nevertheless. I DO need help being holy allot lately. But that I'm out sinning n wreaking havoc on the world or anything!!!!! But my faith n my hear is growing faint due to the enemy attacking my family, my home, my peace in so many ways n we have got to help others. It made me look at myself in the mirror and say I will get the help I need... BY helping others. If I make someone ELSE the focus? My weight won't feel so heavy n God will bring clarity. Amen. Yall are beautiful.
This disciplining is what the love of Christ is. Making sure in your own little way, that people know the essence of being a believer and sharing the precious love of Christ and his goodness
I love this video so much! It really highlighted the different types of discipleship, and how God will work in ways that aren’t only reading your Bible. My favorite part was when they were talking about younger women needing to be able to go to our elder women for mentorship and discipleship, but then when they said everyone is older than someone. There's a podcast by Ps John Piper and Kevin de Young about the pursuit of holiness - I will never forget. He said it is not enough to be ok, and not sin but one must pursue holiness. I love what JHP said about discipleship, sounds great. 2 years of practising and being guided? Sounds great. *Did you think about Jesus when you said that?

What does "Holliness" mean. Holliness is being "set apart", it is not an act. This idea of "sinless perfection" is a farce. When you hear the gospel of Christ and you believe it, Christ comes into you by His Spirit and that sets you apart from the world. Holliness is not the gospel, rather holiness is a person, Christ Jesus.
