I seen dramas where the Male lead treats the female lead like sh*t and in the end she dies leaving him to regret everything because despite treating her like sh*t, he loved her. Usually when that happens, I don't feel bad that the female lead died because now she's at peace and it actually makes me feel goad that now the male lead will live with regret for the rest of his life having lost her and treated her like shit when she was alive. Like the drama Goodbye My Princess, he didn't deserve her and I'm glad that after she died, her brother took her body back to their land and buried her there and that way her husband won't ever get to see even her dead corpse or her grave ever again. He didn't deserve her and all he did was hurt her, I hated that the drama ended with their reincarnations having falling in love again and happy together in the future, I wish she could've ended up with her master in her reincarnation. He loved her and protected her and was innocent and the husband killed him because he thought he was her lover. Her and her master deserved better and the husband deserved hell.

@GMBA55 I didn't see that part either, but I did skip around. I just remember him wandering the desert looking for her when he was older. I liked that Princess, but I strangely liked the Concubine too. I would have wished both women had teamed up and left his a$$. That Palace was corrupt and evil. It seemed to corrupt the people inside. The ML was fine with the Concubine but things got complicated and disturbed when the princess came. That palace reminded me of The Shining and The Amityville Horror.
Just a question: why were not the police called and why is her abuser allowed in her room??

Probably the writer love this type of drama. It’s not good to watch and especially for children to see this kind of drama too much violence and they will think it’s acceptable in real life to torture an individual. I just dislike it.

Pfftt! Why does he feel guilty? He is torturing his dying wife and humiliating her and her family. Literally, all that will be left is her brother, and as angry as he is with her, he will calm down and find out the truth of her final days/years with this beast. She will find her peace and she'll be with her parents soon enough in paradise. The widower, though, he won't be able to find a hole his size to hide in. When the truth comes out how he mistreated his wife and cherishes his mistress...well, it's gonna get interesting , knowing he will be shunned by society. She fell in love with the wrong guy, but her pains and sorrows won't match the hubby's.

These dramas have got to be a propaganda plot to control Asian woman. This what will happen to you if you even think about having self worth and esteem. Seriously, how else can you explain the dozens upons dozens of these sick...SICK dramas where the FL is tortured to death. Humiliated, beaten, choked, yanked, repeatedly raped, and they call this entertainment in Asia. Thank the gods for the fast forward button. After the first torture scene, jump to the last 5 min, where she rolls over, takes the monster back into her bed and becomes a slave to his sadistic rants, both mental torment, and physical abuse...nothing says love better than torture and rape.
