      "who defines what is beneficial?"
That doesn't need to be defined in order to ask or answer that question. You know what the word means, so the question can be answered. So you've failed to justify your claim.
"Whilst being who I am I think Christian religion is best for our country, but I am in no position to judge."
I'm not sure why you think you're not in a position to judge that, specially since you've already made a judgement that religion and politics shouldn't mix. If you think you're capable of judging that, then why can't you make a judgement about Christianity being the best?
But I'll also put it this way. Is there any reason to doubt that Christianity has been beneficial when it's been responsible for founding public hospitals and many charities, twice abolishing slavery, founding the university system and later universal education, giving people freedoms, spreading democracy, upholding human rights, elevating the status of women, founding modern science, and etc.?
The fact is that Western Civilisation _and its laws_ were based on Christianity. (See Augusto Zimmerman's three-volume work on _Christian Foundations of the Common Law._ ) That is, Christianity and politics mixed. Also, when William Wilberforce was campaigning against slavery in the British parliament, an opponent of Wilberforce said "Things have come to a pretty pass when religion is allowed to invade public life." The point is that slavery was abolished _because_ religion and politics mixed. I could easily cite other examples.

I would modify that to say "To a committed Muslim..." or similar. Many Muslims are cultural Muslims, that adopt the customs but don't really believe. Would you see a Muslim party interested in improving the Australian way of life ? There is no room for their ideals and if they do not like Australia maybe they should leave .

She can't by law stay in politics while holding duel citizenship. dual citizens. Those Australians are ineligible to be chosen or to sit in the parliament under subsection 44(i).

In a land where unity should stand,
A new division scars the sand,
    Fatima Payman, with her plight,
    Introduces a split in sight.
A party born of faith alone,
A fracture in the nation grown,
Muslim vote, she bids to rise,
    Australia splits before our eyes.
    Doctor Rifi, wise and clear,
    Speaks against this rising fear,
"We are Australian," his voice resounds,
In unity, true strength is found.
Labor’s halls, she walked with pride,
Yet now she turns to divide,
No Christian vote, no faith in lead,
    Just unity, Australia’s creed.
In the Senate, lines are drawn,
    A nation's unity now torn,
    Religious factions, walls that grow,
Against the tide, we must row.
For in the heart of this fair land,
No single faith should take a stand,
We are diverse, a blended thread,
    In unity, our future’s fed.
Fatima’s path, a choice to sever,
    Leaves us questioning forever,
Why split a land of rich embrace,
With politics that mark a faith?
    Australia strong, when we unite,
When all as one, we share the fight,
For every voice, not just a few,
    For unity, we must renew.
So let us stand, as one, as all,
And heed the wise and urgent call,
No Muslim vote, no Christian sway,
Just one Australia, come what may.
    OddBall

This country allows the freedom to create enclaves, which some communities use to establish religion-based enclaves. This practice spreads, enabling these communities to elect their own members of parliament and influence major parties to cater to their interests, thereby creating more opportunities to bring in their people and change the country to suit their needs.
