    Been doing this job for over 40 years in Edmonton Canada. It's a tough job but when the day is done and you look back at what you did that day you feel the Ironworker pride. Great job guys. Trust me when I say we all hate doing the earthquake headers on the cores.

    I can almost smell that smell concrete high rise construction has, the setting concrete, form oil etc. It's hard work no end.

    Great work gents... I noticed the carpenter's didn't kick the shoring . All in all you iron workers kick ass (always) !!! My concrete people rock on👍👍👍

    7:35 my favorite part. Nothing better than getting to the top of a wall to put on a wing nut and it spins on like butter, a lot of people over look checking the treads or if the ends are mushroomed

    7 лет работал бетонщиком-монтажников,круглый год,зимой и летом.Просто сказать,что это тяжёлая работа,значить ничего не сказать.Арматуры конечно черезчур,похоже сейсмостойкое здание.С первых этажей привыкаешь к высоте.

    I've worked in a building project (small building under 10 stories) then in a tunnel project (NATM method) as an engineer and I've never seen such a dense steel reienforcement, (it would be a nightmare to verifie this lol) and such professional workers

    When you made your fors out of 2x4’s and steel angle, good way to make verticle custom columns. Saves you the troublemof unbolting traditional panels. Cheaper also.

    what is actually holding up the steel reinforced slab once the temporary floor and supports underneath are removed?

      It gets temporary shoring until it's cured, it's also tied into the rest of the building already.

      It cures by itself. 28 days to full strength, then post tensioning.

      The curing process is just letting it cure. Like watching paint dry. No wet burlap required, as the temps were not extreme.
