Japanese lucky bags (also known as Fukubukuro) are released every first week of January (January 1 onwards haha). Some bags get sold out very fast and people really line up for this. You could say that it is like a Japanese tradition every new year. I recommend searching for Fukubukuro news as early as December to preorder / have an idea which brands to get for the following year.

I love how cute the first and last bags are! My favorite based on the items inside would be a toss up between the Pompompurin and the last bag. I love the Pompompurin socks and the cute dishes. And from the last bag I loved the blanket and pillow! So many cute things! 😍💖

How much was each lucky bag? I think my favorite bag is probably bag #1, I could see myself using that tote everyday. It’s a bummer that the only stationary item was the pen case, and aside from the plushies, lots of items were duplicated or with a different character. Thanks for sharing, definitely something I miss bc not able to travel to Japan.

Stationery is so much fun isn't it? Do you have a pen pal? I have several. We share Stationery that we find. Stickers, washi, papers, origami paper, pens and many other things depending on the pen pal. I have one pen pal that just collects stickers. I send her all that I get that I won't use along with others.

Too bad you didn't edit out all the noise. Would have been a lovely video to watch with the music you selected. The lucky bags are such fun.
