    Correct way to play Mech Squad:
    1) Leroy Jenkins IFV in to the point without infinitary support
    2) Drop squad under enemy fire so everyone can die instantly
    3) Get blown up by enemy HAT
    4) Refuse to elaborate
    5) Disconnect from the server

    Really nice work!
    A 19 minute video with this amount of detail must have taken hours of research, testing and editing. Very well done good Sir! :)

    When you get around to it can you make something for how to run a fireteam because as often as there are good SLs there a great FTLs and they are really the ones who run the engagement. Also side note how do I interact with pre-ICOers sometimes I don't think they care about anything but gunplay. Never the less you'll probably get more of those comments the more you talk about effective gunplay and covering your FT.

      Probably! I'm trying to work on a squad for beginners type of video.. but it's very dense and things have changed a bit since I started it.
      I just remind folks that ICO has been in place for nearly a year and move on. Not worth spending all the time just talking about how suppression works or aiming. lol

    Hey man, love the video, especially all the cool graphics you do. very underrated channel overall. i do have a note however. from an armor perspective especially at the beginning of the game, IFV's objectives are usually to wolfpack together and kill the enemy's IFVs. i know that's not their purpose IRL but it is in squad. after the enemy IFVs are gone it gives us the freedom to provide infantry support and transport if needed.
    the big problem with attaching a LAV to a infantry squad is that you now have one less LAV to face off against their IFVs. giving their wolfpack an advantage over ours. if they manage to divide and conquer our IFVs, it's open hunting season on everything else at least until our tank comes out.
    so if we want mechanized infantry to be successful, and a net positive for the team, there's gotta be a plan to deal with the enemy armor. baiting them into your infantry based AT for example. just a thought.

      I think it often depends on the situation. If armor goes to fight other armor without working towards an objective or infantry .. and lets say armor goes to the wrong part of the map.. then you have infantry fighting armor until the wolfpack can arrive.
      I think two often.. that wolfpack goes away from infantry to have an armor fight vs incorporating infantry in their armor fight. It's a tough thing to manage.. but if you can align infantry and armor with each other.. it helps both.
      I agree though, wolfpack is ideal.. but what if the wolfpack works with objectives.. then it's much easier to have infantry integrated with them.

    This was fantastic. Best produced squad trainer I’ve seen so far. I really appreciate how you don’t focus on what the equipment is but instead on how to use it, and the map graphics usage was great.
    Honorable mention would be to show how to use numpad to call out to specific SLs which can be great to communicate between the vehicle SL and the INF SL.

    Awesome videos! Very informative, graphically presented!
    Suggestion for a different future-series:
    Suggestions for radio/HAB placements for different maps.
    Most maps have common ‘hot-points’, so you don’t need to do every layer…
    ‘Inside this house is great because then you can place another radio in this other house’.
    Or
    ‘This is a great tow-placement’

    • @Slay3Kilo
      @Slay3Kilo  Před měsícem +1

      I've considered that, but I've made a video that breaks down general radio placement.. that is steps and things to consider regardless of the map selection.

    One. JUST ONE effective SL can swing a game. If you throw two in there with one of those running armor and the other foot mobiles its a round winner

    Great video, but convincing anyone other then a buddy or clan member to go SL and drive the vehicle is hopeless. 80% of armour squads are a rude non talkative (sometime no mic) that just want to play warthunder whilst you are stuck driving or in the commander seat. That’s why I don’t play armour with ransoms anymore. It’s almost always a shitty job where you get blamed by the shitty sl for everything whilst he can’t even make up his mind.
    But do this with some buddies and yea I can see this be an excellent strategy

    I'd love to know which servers are the best to have teamwork oriented gameplay? Maybe you can even make a video on it?
    It's one thing to make tutorials on how to work as a team. But most of the battle with having teeamwork is finding the right server.

    • @Slay3Kilo
      @Slay3Kilo  Před měsícem

      IDK if I can really make a video on that.. I don't want to pit servers against each other. I would say it helps to develop a relationships with people playing on a server. If you play more consistently you can develop some relationships with folks that play there. I've been fortunate enough to have that opportunity on a couple now.

    So my challenge to you and anyone reading is: Can you talk high speed without using "run" in the place of "use" "utilize" "implement" "equip" etc etc. It sounds stupid but I'm an English tutor and some of this parasitism in English is getting outrageous to the point that other cultures use our words yet with ONLY the new-speak Google Marketing Major Ad Revenue Buzzword meanings, "Community" for example meaning specifically "ONLINE GROUPS based around a product or service"... sht like this. Great video otherwise, my bro was a CIB 11C in Iraq.
