@@jbednarek that’s right! Message me via @gondolamusic.com/contact to get your score
This is great.
My favorite pianists you already covered:
- Martin Spitznagel
- Frederik Hodges
- Victor Demange
- Pierre Yves Plat
The one you are missing, the Ragtime master:
- Tom Brier
Looking forward to it!
Cheers,
I love tom brier so much, im so happy he got the joplin lifetime achievement in rag award finally
i will never understand how to play ragtime octave jumps in the left hand.
Bass notes goes from I to V of the current chord, on repeat
You just do them
Practice 40hrs
slow and careful at first, then speed up. same as anything. how I first learned is like above comment, bass alternates I to V of current chord, and between the bass I'd usually notes jump up to an octave higher, 2nd inversion (so triad shape left hand is V-I-III of the chord) Then this can be varied
one of the favorite treatments made by Pierre
I sat through that whole performance with a big stupid smile on my face
bravo
One of the most epic stride piano arrangments
*_«Amazing!»_*
*-Scotteryk Choplin*
That's not ragtime, joke doesn't really apply xD
@@PiotrBarcz:
The second section had some ragtime vibes to it in the beginning with the syncopation.
@@hoon_sol Yeah a bit but in general this isn't ragtime. It's still pretty cool though. I'd say this has more to do with stride piano than anything else.
How do you know exactly what I've been listening to !?!?! It's as if you knew I wanted a transcription!
I wish I could still play this properly let alone play it in stride!
Thank you for the score, I heard this ages ago and I’m so glad I can play it now
Thank you!
Incredible work, impressive technique!
His nocturne no.2 E♭ and Bach Dm arrangement is also good
I first thought of Chopinata by Doucet
Wow!
WOW! 😵😵😵
Wonderful piano music!🎹🎼🎵🎶
Like 👍.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you very much!💜
Have a great day! 🌅
Wow superb👏👏
Can you do justin Lee Schultz Turkish March also??
igual a chopin esta interpretacion tipo piano-espectaculo le hubiera gustado. igual cuando te toca estudiarlo a ti no es tan "espectaculo"...
Вот это да!!! Очень виртуозно 🎉
Are people laughing at the beginning because he’s imitating the beginning of Rush E?
This pre-dates rush e by a good dozen of years 😅
Well it is not classical music, it's his improvisation. It's not Chopin. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with that.
Right because the piece isn’t called fantasie “impromptu” 🤨
@@rileymerino6340 What? Is this a serious comment? What does that have to do with anything?
@@rileymerino6340 you're low iq
@@TheFertoledo”impromptu” means improvisation
@@louisachen7161 So what? The piece was not an ''improvisation''. It's just the name.
I was wondering when someone would transcribe this silly arrangement, it's pretty funny how well this tune works as a one step though I want to see it as a foxtrot!
I think Chopan would have approved of this.
It feels a bit.. slow... we can still hear notes.
this reminds me of the time I used to play my classical pieces fast for my family at age 13 after teaching myself how to play piano. Nobody was impressed so I just stopped playing for 10 years
What’s impressive about this? The stride version? The supposed speed and accuracy? Touch, phrasing, interpretation?
All of that.
His left hand alone is objectively impressive. holy
Not only he can play classical music but like most of them he start by it...

The original is harder than this. He just played an improv, proving he truly "can't play classical music". 🤣
He super good
the original one is harder than this one, because of polyrhythm :)
the jumps looks much more devious than the polyrhythm
@@schewts looks yes. but It's not difficult.
@@GeorgeCarlin88 hmm to me i feel like it'd be harder than 3:4, i can't say for sure, i havent played either of them, don't take this seriously 😅
The notes themselves aren't that hard to hit, but to play it like he did is very very difficult
@@GeorgeCarlin88 I cannot speak for everyone, but I personally can play the original impromptu; and that rag-time with the left hand (at this speed) is way above my current level.
