- The rando for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis has had a ton of work done to it in the past few months. There are 5 difficulty settings. Easy, Standard, Hardcore, Nightmare & Inferno.
Hardcore and beyond are pistol/shotgun only and 1-3 ink ribbons if any.
This was played on Standard. I will be doing all the difficulties in the coming weeks :)

I really enjoy watching you play randomizers. It adds that element that tests your game knowledge and skill. There are so many times I've seen your randomizer where if I were in that situation, I would soft lock FOREVER because of my lack of game knowledge, mechanics and skill. Thanks for uploading these.

This is my first time seeing the original RE3. Ive played every game but this and RE6, but seeing this makes me realize how underwhelming RE3 remake was 😂

Yeah... the characters were done much much better and the graphics were great, but all in all it was a rushed cash grab

@@seanmills7586 To each their own. Jill in the remake just seems like a more realistic portrayal of someone who went though a traumatic event like the arklay mansion. In the original she showed no signs of that. She isn't a bad character in the OG, but her portrayal in the remake makes more sense and it helps that she is well-acted.
@@Disco4ia i think the og jill had good acting, and she came off as a tough as nails chick in the og ready for a fight. In the remake she seems kinda wimpy, and they only focused on her trauma for like one scene. I dunno I dont see it
The Kendo mod really does rock. I had the same problem at the end as Bawk. Looks like the Shotgun parts and the R. Launcher are swapped.

The unfortunate thing about Village's linearity and how it limits randomizers is that it's almost totally arbitrary. The Winged key could have just not existed and consequently you'd have been able to go to any of the Flask's locations in any order you wanted.
I agree. The game is good at making you think it's open because of how the area is structured, but alas. Lady Dem and Heisenberg aside, the other areas could have easily been done in whichever order. Then again, C̶a̶r̶l̶o̶s̶ Chris could have just told Ethan everything from the get go, but then that'd make sense.

Actually good idea. I was thinking it would have been that too but then realised that you have to upgrade your key etc. Feel like this was done just so that there is no game balancing issues by making certain areas harder or the bosses harder, but also for the sake of appealing to the general public. Bit of a shame really

I love how every time he has to expend enhanced shotgun shells on hunters in the RPD, he immediately finds the exact amount of shells he spent somewhere in the room.

So Anyone ever noticed that after the Rail Canon has defeated Nemesis and the Batteries are being pushed out the whole Path the Rail Canon has shot with its first firing is "repaired". They used the intact background at 2:54:30 instead of the destroyed one

I really wanna try this mod out, I've been getting into a lot of randomizers lately, just did RE2 rando and also did Twilight Princess rando too, they just add so much to the games they work on. This video showed me how much chaos it can give and I love it, like all them hunters and the RPD with all those nemmys too lol
My gripe with infinite Darkness (referencing when Bawk was talking about it), similar to what you were talking about, is that it was *soooo* short!
how do you install the randomizer? I placed the files on the main directory and created a seed, but doesn't seem to work for me, any suggestions?
As much as i like re village, I will agree that it is a little too linear. If castle Dimitrescu was designed like the Spencer Manson, I think it would be better. At least the hub area has a lot of puzzles and secrets to find and that area felt most like classic re.
And it goes without saying that re3 remake is way too linear and all the areas you visit are tiny. That game is so disappointing, it had so much potential but it just did the bare minimum.
i agree, with RE3, it felt very underwhelming to the point where downown was liek 1 street and they skipped half the game.
I would admit that re3 was more linear but so was re 2 remake and and even og re3 u had points of no return. I think re3 gets more hate than it deserves

The only thing they seemed to get right is the save room music.

so he said he wanted to see more RE games in racoon city early on in the stream/vid. i think. it would be awesome. to have the entire OG main cast, Jill Chris Leon Claire (Ada Wesker Maybe?) have to go BACK to racoon city ruins after the nuke bc the area has created some crazy shit bc of T and G and radiation or something. i dunno. some crazy shenanigans goin back to the ruins/crater that was once racoon city.

Wow, to play this randumbizer at purrfection, you have to know every single item location from the standard game. It's so good, because I already found a new item location because of your run in the first like 12 minutes or so (the ink ribbons near the rear entrance of the bar) and near the end an extra first aid spray on the side next to the magnum bullets in the rear of the room before engaging Nickel Eye in the chopper ... thanks!

Hunters always attack one after another really fast so even if the first attack misses the second hunter is always following up immediately for the guaranteed hit. Shits cheap lol
That stair room with the Hunters then at the top the 4 Nemmies with Nemmy breakin through the window a bit later makes me think thats 1. very brutal but also 2. of Metroid Fusion where story wise theres more than 10 SA-X aboard the BSL.

Yep and even with let's say u get the key early for a lord u aren't supposed to go to yet, u wouldn't be able to do anything since a lot of re8 has triggers ties to items and I wouldn't think any modder would be able to change that since it's literally a ton of items. Capcom should have given us a randomizer mode that you can unlock after beating like all mercenaries levels (score doesn't matter) instead of this super delayed re:verse that literally nobody asked for. A re8 randomizer would have been a ton of fun but like u said, since the game is super linear, it's pretty much pointless since most key items would have to be in original spits. Could possibly do like non key item randomizer and enemy randomizer but that's about it
