  • Daymer Bay visit in a wheelchair with my assistance dog
Where is it? Daymer Bay North Cornwall
Car Park post code: PL27 65A
This car park is down a small lane and it is very large.
TOP TIP: It is a Just park car park. Make sure you have either downloaded the app or it has been updated as the signal is bad.
ALSO what ever you do make SURE you leave the car park at least 10 mins before your ticket runs out !!!!
There is a camera that films you coming in and out and if you are a few minutes over you will be charged up to £100 and know where to complain or query it.
I learnt the hard way and paid £80 for paying quickly….. few meals less !!
Disabled toilets? Apparently at the car park, nearest other is at Polzeath. You will be charged to use them,
Cafe or drink food facility? There are many choices. There is a lovely accessible national trust cafe in the village with very friendly staff wide door to go in ect. This doesn’t open till 10am
    Terrain: tarmac, loose gravel, grass
    EASY and flat
    Scenery: Coastal
Shelter? There are no places to take shelter
    Experience:
So Daymer Bay is just off the main road down a small lane where you get to car park. Please, please look at the above warning.
The views are amazing and if you choose a better day than us I am sure you could see for miles. Definitely could see rock. It was an undulating terrain and im sure it has changed over the years due to weather and sea conditions. We went on the recommendation from a lovely couple we met saying they used to push there daughter here. Please be prepared for all weathers and it does get very windy. Many runners using this pathway and dog walkers. We really did enjoy ourselves with the fresh air and soggy hair day. I was a bit disappointed that I couldnt fit over the footbridge but a wheelchair might be able to manage. Although on the otherside was the other carpark and lots of big gravel on the slope going down into polzeath. We just had to turn around and go back the same way and meet more people enjoying the weather like us :)
Disclaimer: this is for entertainment purposes only and I can not take any possibility if you choose to do this walk it would be under your own discernment and judgement

This just popped up on my feed, not sure why, i follow a few walking and urban adventure channels so maybe thats it, jut glad it did. Honestly I think this is such an important channel. Gonna show it to my father in law. Wish you all the best in growing and reaching more people. Try using #hashtags in your titles or descriptions to reach more people. The community page and shorts is another way to reach more and grow your channel. Use them as little teasers to entice people to your channel. Good luck and much respect ❤❤
