👍 I'm 58 . Started on a 69 z-50 in 1970 on the farm . Raced moto for a couple decades . Still ride today , cruise around dual sport'n . Miss the MX , and getting old sucks 😖
@@mikeandrews1899 lol.. it sure does! But I still work out each day and at least walk 4 to 5 miles a day even in the snow..I live in the mtns. I also ride my mtn bike and road bicycle..so as long as I stay fit I am good to go..
They ARE the best. I have the full PC works exhaust and cylinder/head work on my yz250, it's the best engine I've ever ridden in 30+ years of riding dirt bikes.

You can call PC and get on a waiting list. They make batches of the older pipes when the demand is there.
Don't hate me for saying it, but it's a Honda. Go get an FMF. They go together so well. FMF had a Honda team back in the day and the Geico Honda stuff all used it

Bad ass bike! Can someone tell me why go with hubs other than stock. Hubs are never an issue usually and very rare to fail.
I think the most overlooked part of jetting a two stroke is getting a throttle slide with the right cutaway. That Yamaha came with a 7 and almost always works better with an 8 or a 9. 2017+ KTMs come with a 4 and they need at least a 5 (2003 KX125) or the 5.75 that came in a 2003 CR125. That or just have the 4 cut to a 5.5 or so.
That's mostly for the woods guys. The moto guys don't seem to really care, oddly enough.
i remeber going to pro circuit way back in husky days.....god, idk late 70s or early 80s i wanna say with my dad.....it was a tiny shop.....corona was farmland and tbh it was out that way but dont even know if it was actually in corona back than

Wish straight rhythm would have a 125 a 250 and then a open 2 stroke class with no limits.let these guys build a crazy one off high h.p bike with a maximum disp of say 450 but only 2 strokes.
The main class is open. A few guys have tried 300s and one or two 500s in past years but didn’t like them on SX.
@@vitalmx that's right I forgot about that year.but I recall that they had 500 in old chassis like rmzilla.i would like to see 300 to a 450 on off 2 strokes with no rules custom cyl bore stroke nice and square.
