Rolling Stock Used: Bombardier ALP-45DP Locomotive #4521, Bombardier Multilevel Coaches.
During PM Rush Hour, two NJ Transit Trains (#5737 and #5743) travel on the Raritan Valley Line via Express making stops at Newark Penn Station, Westfield, Plainfield, Dunellen, Bound Brook, Bridgewater, Somerville, Raritan, North Branch, White House, Lebanon, Annandale, and High Bridge.
Stops skipped include: Union, Roselle Park, Cranford, Garwood, Fanwood, and Netherwood. After Plainfield, this train runs local all the way to High Bridge.
I decided to film this route only because I had nothing left to film in New York City on the MTA Subway, therefore, I decided to try something new, which included filming on the New Jersey Transit. I would have gone to High Bridge, but the issue is that trains do not go back into service from High Bridge during PM Rush Hour. The next train out of High Bridge is at 6am and I do not want to stay overnight at High Bridge.
Usually, the first two cars behind the locomotive are sectioned off, but this time, all cars were open, so I took advantage of it. Only reason I sat in the second passenger car was because I had a feeling that the first car would not open its doors at Raritan.
The ride was not extremely fast, but the ride was definitely pleasant as it was moderately fast and the views were nice as well.
Other than that, the video is self-explanatory, so I really hope you guys enjoy it. Please feel free to ask me any question in mind and also, like, comment, subscribe, and share this video! :D
