I remember when this song came out Summer 2010.. I had just turned 19 and was staying with My Ex at her Mom's house lol Good times lol.. This was the first song I learned how to play on the piano 🎹💯 What's Crazy is I didn't see that Movie 🎥 until like 2 year's later (Late 2012) and the ending scene of that Movie (Their Last Dance) Moved me with the Song (To Build a Home), The Cinematics, The Sunset 🌇, The Dance, Just the whole Ending of That Movie 🎥 was GREAT to me and Represents The End and Beginning of a Certain time frame for me 💯 Crazy How Music 🎵🎶 brings back Memories 💯 or Smells.. Smells especially because I've had Smells take me back to a Very Specific Day, Really back to an Exact Moment from 2004.. 20 years ago 💯 Out of the 2000's, I'd say 2003 and 2004 (ESPECIALLY 04) were the Best year's fot Music.. 2010's, I'd say it's between 2015 and 2019 for The Best year for Music.. So Far in the 2020's, The Best year was 2020 💯 2020 had some Real Serious Hits.. It's like after 2020, Everything kinda just.. Became Very.. "Dull" for Lack of Better term 💯🤷🏾 It's like, things aren't getting better.. I actually Miss the Pandemic lol May sound Crazy but Quarantine Specifically from March to June 2020 literally gave me some of The Best Moments of My life 💯 I was actually wholeheartedly "Content" with where I was in Life and for a Very short lived moment in time, I was actually Happy and there was No other time I had rather been.. Really from March to August 2020 💯 Summer came to an end, September Came and it was ALL Downhill from there 💯 Back to My own little personal Hell I went 😏 Alone.. I Turned 29 in May of 2020.. Hands Down the BEST Birthday 🎂 I ever had 💯 Not because of anything Extraordinary but because I had someone in my life that bought me a Cake 🎂, Some Gifts and Set up a lil Birthday set up in her Dining room 💯 Not just that, but the Fact that I actually had someone that Loves me that wanted to spend time with me 💯 That was the... BEST Feeling.. Now.. 😏.. My 32nd Birthday, Out of My 5 Siblings, Handful of Homeboys and the 4 Woman who I consider to be Close to me, I got ONE "Happy Birthday" Text from ONE Sibling 😔.. That's it.. My Ex who I spent my 29th birthday with, didn't Text me so I text her at like 10pm and we text back n forth and I asked if she was upset with me and she said No.. After about 4-5 Texts back n forth She Finally Realized it was my birthday and She tried to Wish mr Happy Birthday before I told her but, My Text reminding her sent first and hers came in less than a second later 🤦🏾 So, she admitted she forgot about me 😔💔 Everyone did.. But.. That's Life 💯 I decided I'm no longer celebrating Birthday's or Holiday's anymore 💯 Every year I Thank God for My 29th Birthday and My 2019 Christmas who my Ex also made special for me 💯 How I see it, I may Never get to experience a Good Birthday or Holiday again and may be alone on them but, Atleast I was able to experience One really good Birthday where someone loved me and took time out to make me feel special.. I really appreciated that 😔 and a Good Christmas.. My First Good Christmas since I was 5 in 1996 💯 I Thank God for My Past birthday because He Didn't Have to Allow me to Experience NO Good Birthdays or Christmas's 💯 So.. like I said, I may never experience any Good Holiday and BDay again but I'm Grateful for the ones I did have.. As Long as God is Blessing My Loved ones to Experience Good Bdays and Holidays and God is Happy, I'm cool 💯 My Feelings/Emotions and Happiness Never really Mattered to Anyone for long and I've Accepted that They All have Moved on and forgot about me but Love is Love.. Just because they don't love me anymore, don't mean I have to stop loving them 💯 I still pray for them and their Loved ones in Hopes that their loved ones give them Great Bdays and Holidays and Overall a Good life.. Happiness and all that good stuff is a Ship that sailed and it took a while But after my 32nd bday, I've Accepted that I may Never have a Good bday/holiday again and I'm cool with that.. I'm Grateful for the ones I did have 💯✝️🙏🏾🤞🏾📖 Even when you get the short end of the stick in Life, Refrain from Feeling "Sorry" for yourself 💯 It was what it was and it is what it is 💯 What Good is Complaining 💯 You can Grieve..
