Great anecdotes. I got interviewed by Terry once and it’s still a minor highlight of my life. Genuinely nice guy who was very much part of putting Manchester on the map.

Absolute Manc legend. The Word was such a groundbreaking show back in the day and it was a major influence on my musical taste. The Ollie Reed interview is a must see.
I was in 2 minds whether to watch this or not as I thought it might be a Tory bashing Labour Party love-in. No i'm not a Tory, I live in Northern Ireland and we have our own political problems so when it comes on, I turn over. Gladly it was about United, Terry's career and the music scene around Manchester. The mans recall of dates, names, bands is remarkable. His passion is undeniable for music and United. Would love to listen to him for another hour on United and Oasis.

Rob Gretton's brother and sister were my old headmaster / deputy headmaster of my old junior school, saint Anthony's r.c. primary school in Wythenshawe ( John Gretton & Pat Marsden ).

Wow, Terry. I remember tweeting many years ago that Mani quote about how the Roses would get back together when City win the European Cup and he liked it and started following me. That aged well as they got back together and we’ll err let’s forget about that other part.

I went to Valletta in Malta in a bar called the Pub. Oliver Reed died in it. He was filming Gladiator at the time in Malta. A 6 ft 6 Serbian barman told me they had to carry him outside and lay him on the pavement. If he had been in the pub the police would have shut the bar for 2 days.

I am 72 years of age back when I was a kid although we supposed Manchester united we where happy to support the other Manchester team being Manchester City . thing have changed allot since the sixty's.🎉🎉
That's what my Dad says. He says he used to go to both City and United with his mates, whoever was playing at home and it was the norm to do that. Everyone hated Leeds because they'd throw darts etc. He said Everton fans were ultra crazy racists too.
Some things change for the better I expect.
Brilliant my first games in the Paddock 95p 79/80 season but then use to climb through the bent bars behind the goal to get into the End.
