Dido's Lament (sung by AedeusLeonora)...

I recently found this old recording of me singing one of my favourite pieces - ”Dido’s Lament” by Henry Purcell. I’m not classically trained at all, but I like the song so I gave it a go… I'm also not very good at editing audio files as you might hear... :P I tried to create an echo sound in Audacity and while it’s not perfect I think it added a bit of an eerie feeling to the song - as if it’s sung from the other side of the grave
I was inspired by Hayley Westenra’s version, and since my pronunciation isn’t the best here’s the lyrics:
