    This stuff was around in the late 90s and it was so damn cheap and no one knew about it. I used it all the time

    With Tire Finish the tire has to be completely dry or it will turn brown a bit but will go away if you wipe it off I like More Shine better.

    Glad I found this video! I recently purchased a set of Continental PureContact LS and encountered the problems you mention. Water based dressing makes it look better but still very uneven and 'blotchy'. I'm told new tires may have a protective wax on them that takes a few months to wear off, maybe that's the problem? Anyway, after a through wash with Super Clean I tried this (as you instructed) and all I can say is that it's awesome! Thanks Scott!

    Stoner products are great. I switch between the aerosol and spray bottle versions. I found out both products are formulated with silicone even though one is water based. And I do like the shine that it leaves behind meaning its not too much like Endurance Gel. And both last a long time even the water based. I also used the water based on the exterior trim and so far it does hold up very well after a few weeks. Those and Invisible Glass are my Stoners favorites.

    Stoner More Shine is the best retail tire dressing out there. No wonder it is top rated by consumers on Amazon. Great video Scott! It is only More Shine for my tires!

  • @christinaholligan8299

    I am just now learning about how to care for tires. Question I don't understand why you do the outside of a tire not the inside does the inside need treatment at all? And if not why not?

    Use Aerospace 303 for my tires, once rubber is clean it keeps them looking good (natural look) for weeks and after numerous washings.

    4:04 I noticed that problem with the Continental dws06 Tire and the Pirelli p zero. The Continental Tire you have to layer it up first but the Pirelli takes the tire dressing with no problem in one swipe with Meguiars hyper dressing.

    • @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343
      @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343  Před 7 lety +4

      what a great question!..yes those tires can be so difficult sometimes..i would use a water based dressing for the flat areas of the tire but for the top side of side wall i would spray stoner trim shine within the deep valleys of those tires and knock down the product the best i could so it doesn't sling...hopefully that helps and the minute i come across a tire like that i will make a video to help even more...i hope that helps:)

    Scott, I have been watching most of your video, and have been learning much from them...TY. As I was watching this video on Stoner. I had found a product from O'Reilly's that is made by Superior Products, and is called "Cover All". I was wondering if you had heard of it, or tried it. I have used it a few times. And I tested it against Meguiar's new spray dressing. Would like to know your thoughts on this, if you get a chance to try it..

    @gmitch239 Před 7 lety

    Is this the same process you use when applying hyper dressing? Doesn't it take some of the shine away. Is that why you don't dilute it?

    • @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343
      @dallaspaintcorrectionautod8343  Před 7 lety +2

      awesome question...well for me i want to knock down any dressing i use because even water based dressings can sling so yes using hyper dressing straight or 1:1 will give me the gloss or shine I'm looking for even after knocking down product...much love my friend and so sorry for forgetting your name on chrome trim polishing video:)...the flitz polish and ball will remove light scratches but if the scratches or deep you need to be careful when trying to remove even with a compound because the chrome film is so thin and also remember the chrome film is around plastic, when using a buffer and compound on chrome film around plastic you can build up a lot of heat on the surface and you can discolor the film!
