Teach him how to section the hair before he does your hair again. That’s why it came out spotty, but honestly I don’t think it looks bad. Considering his haphazard way of applying the dye, it looks great. I was worried for you while I watched him do it. Also, maybe two boxes of dye since your hair is so long. I have long hair too, and I need two boxes lol
I will give Josh an 8. since he never has done it before, an don't understand colloring + time. he managed to collor ALL of our hair...... that is a plus
I know that feeling, Gabie when you first dye your hair darker. It’s kind of a shock and I always question “is it too dark?!” But I agree with Josh - I think that color looks great on you! I’m Korean too and have naturally dark hair and when I used to dye my hair lighter I used to always get a reddish/orangey hair that Asian hair always seem to turn no matter what color I get dyed professionally at the salon. After so many years of getting it colored and color corrected, I decided to leave it low maintenance and natural brown.
He did a great job! Long hair is so much more difficult and it worked! Don’t be concerned about variations in shading; hair naturally has subtly different shades on the same head. 16:34

Hannah Frink it depends on the dye. Most permanent dye just stops processing after a certain period of time.
