Not every song needs to have a drum and beat just for everyone to appreciate the song. Vocals alone can also do that. That is why PPOP is different from KPOP. Ppop's main focus is vocals.

I agree with the other girl. The first time I heard that song specially the lyric part there is something lacking. But all in all I love G22 specially their break dance. Thank you Chachii and to your friends as well.

I think this song is meant to be listened to with headphones. The lyrics focus on vocals and harmonization. At first I find it lacking too because I like songs with poetic lyrics. but... This is what makes their debut song unique compared to other P-Pop GGs. Their vocals fit each other like puzzle pieces.
This is just a 1st video, usually first MVs are to introduce what the person/people can do. It's a balance between introduction and "tease".

Their recent live performances of Bang they use the rock ver., you can check out some fancams in Popstival 2022 and BeYou2 Manila. I have seen them live and they are beyond or exceeded my expectations, especially for a rookie group. They are oozing with confidence and charisma on stage, plus the energy in choreo and vocals. 💯 They have everything to make it big and make it everywhere soon.

the woman who commented that the chorus has no power should teach us how to do it with power coz I need it. Also, if you hear a song, you can't really get the full package of it from the 1st or 2nd chorus, it should be seen and heard in the last part of every song. You would be able to know that if you listen to a vocal coach.
Thank you for your feedback but just to clarify (although I think the subs was clear) she never mentioned anything about their vocals or their power she said that she wish the chorus had a bit more instrumental or bass to reflect the power we are seeing from them. If the translation was bad I do apologize but I felt the need to let you know because the " teach us how to do it with power" comment was a bit mean because if you watch the full RV then I think you could see she in particular loved their vocals but just was not a fan of the instrumental, vocals and instrumentals are two separate things. You don't have to be a vocal coach to listen to a song, as dancers we have the ability to listen, interpret and understand songs. You have to understand that most of these RVs are viewed from a dancer's perspective so you cant expect a vocal coach to have the same experience as a dancer and visa versa. While a vocal coach Pays attention to the vocals a dancer will hear a song to feel the beat along with the lyrics, the point of views will always be different

I am letting you know that I am not really aware that it is the POV of a dancer, not sure if it was mentioned in the first part of your video that you are all dancers, I apologize that I missed that. The comment I posted might have been so mean, my apologies but please know that I was expressing my thoughts on the translation where she said G22 was like doing an acapella and added that G22 were probably aiming for acapella (vid translation). Most Filipino pop singers are focusing on the vocals on MVs compared to live performances where they focus on their dance. That translation was kind of mean to me as well, and I would understand if that was not mean to you. Of course, that is the point of the video, giving reactions regardless if it is a positive reaction or not. As a person who has been trained as well in singing, I only shared that you can't really get the full potential of the chorus most of the time, most of them will be served in the last part of the song. That comment of mine was coming from the other woman who said that whatever was missing in the beginning was brought out in the last part of the song, which was my mind telling me that "yes, it is expected". Maybe I was only hurt as a fan of G22 that someone commented that they were not really satisfied with the chorus and the instrumentals knowing that I am also a fan of the vocal coach of G22, KZ Tandingan, who personally arranged the instrumentals and lyrics for the girl's debut song. I appreciate you clearing things out, thank you for reacting as well to G22's Bang. Cheers!

As long as we can give our POV to each other and keep it polite and respectful, it's the best thing actually. IT shows that the PPOP community and G22 fans are kind. Don;t ever feel scared to say how you feel, only by talking can we clear any misunderstanding. I will also like to apologize if the translation was not to clear I will definitely do my best to make it better next time. I'm still showing G22 to other people I just have not finished the edit.

Love G22, them vocals and dancing are top notch but that mv didn't give justice also the song is a little meh to me. Same problem with BGYO, they got them all but the songs are not doing it for me.
