This game was just surprises after surprises each time. And I gotta give it to dimon for pulling unorthodox plays like that toxin tank and magnetic field to scare of dutch's army. And even the unexpected backstab using kirovs to seal the deal
That Kirov ending is so great, you don't see Kirov too much in RA3
yea, because its the last thing you see, usually.
The Kirov was like "fine I'll do it myself"
Alt timeline where Empire and Soviets teamed up against Capitalists
With soviet anthem on background..
It felt like Happy and Dutch were ahead from the start;
but then Happy overrelaxed and started to have fun with the spies and parking his MCV in dangerous places without building naval or war factory as a backup.
I hope in case of rematch (with same players) Happy is going to be a little more sober for the Dutch's sake

Well, maybe, but i think he's just being cautions for the spy among Ductharmy's infantry, and to make some time so that Dimon's kirov was gonna make the absolute crush, lol

Great game from Dimon and Zaar, I love seeing allied forces get destroyed, it's just so much satisfying to see soviet wins the game, especially Dimon is playing it.

@@alphaenterprise2232 I dont think Dimon has intentions to do that since I saw him play a lot with DutchArmy to the point that he's kinda mentoring him. Both of them are comfortable with each other.

Holy shit this zaar dude is good at the game! I expected noob plays for a "student" but he did things you wouldn't even imagine in retrospect.

And the final face off at the end was great, seeing the final offensive with all of the infantry while the base is getting destroyes was a cool ending. It was one of the rare games where the player dies, but doesn't surrender, Napoléon's guard style^^
I believe that Dimon has given a lot of suggestions to DutchArmy and Zaar in his stream/youtube channel. He's good at giving them advice.

I really think EA should look back at Red Alert 3 and balancing the rest of Soviet and Empire. I have always thinking they only finished "balancing" Allies (thus all their units are viable), halfway balancing Soviet (many units are viable) and abandoned the Empire (not many units viable, and even Shinobi attack pattern is not fixed).
If a official balance patch come from EA itself, many things would change, I hope more interesting matches, more Empire strategy variant (less reliant on Tengu spam), and I would hate Allied less.

I became a counter-dimon supporter since sybert is supporting him heavily regardless of the opponents.
Can't blame him, with allied bs technology and gundam-transformer japan, soviet player is just some honest crude people trying to win the game
I support good games and Dimon provides good games 90% of the time, along with Happy, Vindies, and DDF.
Dimon is a fan favorite because he is the only current top level player who plays Soviets.
Respect for dutcharmy for staying till the end.
Zaar was on fire in this game. Dimon was sloppy. Good game nonetheless.

Kirov in the sky of those Allied, what a nostalgia. Allied is so broken that take your skills to the new level to outmaneuver them. Someone nerf that turret already, it shouldnt do that much damage to Anything with that cheap dirty cost.
the allied turret isn't exactly op, It's just the instant build of allies that's op.
@@no3ironman11100 The turret itself is annoying as heck. It can deal good damage to anything, unlike other factions, you have to build specific turret for specific target. The turret is too cheap for what it does. Yuri turret in Yuri’s Revenge is strong against infrantry and tanks but it’s the most expensive turret.
If Allied has the jack of all trade turret that can build instantly then it should be the master of none, easy to build but easy to be destroy. Soviet turrets divided into 2 specific roles but none of them is great for their intended roles, mediocre at best...

@@Sheyl3319 advantages and disadvantages.
soviet flak is superior to allied turret in damage and health. this means for example if the ennemy is air focused instead of more mixed, they're disadvantaged. Same for the other grounded turret. Imperial VX turret is advantaged in it's mobile deployment anywhere, along with dedicating itself to one mode for exampel to help highter tier base defense, and being anti-infantry on a turret helps because advanced base defenses kill armor anyways.
The real issue is the allies instant deployment allows easy defense whenever needed instead of having to be preemptive about it.

How do you play this game online these days? I always get an error message about the gamespy servers being shut down. Is there a way to connect peer to peer or fanmade servers somewhere?
GameSpy servers went down many years ago. These days most people play using C&C Online: cnc-online.net/en/
@@OneSybert thanks man, i used to play a lot back in 2008-2010 but I switched to starcraft 2 when that came out. Ive been playing through some old c&c campaigns for lockdown and ive been wanting to try multiplayer again even though I'm sure ill get absolutely crushed after all these years. Appreciate the content, nice to have another rts to enjoy.

Those allied players where cheap, glad they lost they were abusing every allied trick; the build radius, using cyros to take out reds mechabay.

Not really. DutchArmy and Zaar have only recently come into their own enough to be in this match. I think a year ago it would have been two different players along Happy and Dimon.
