We are Eleise and Lawrence & Nyh - A young family from the south of England. Like many people the pandemic gave us a shake up! While watching hours of Mark Weins in Thailand - We had our “Ah ha” Moment. We decided we wanted to travel.
Enjoying working for ourselves, we didn’t want to give up our business and decided it was entirely possible for us to do both. So we set about making it our lifestyle to work in the UK for a month, and then travel for a month - month on, month off…. until our little boy Nyh goes to school! We want to inspire people that you don’t have to up-sticks, sell all your belongings and leave behind family to be able to see the world.

You saw lots of Bo's Coffee in Cebu because it's a homegrown brand, owned by a Cebuano businessman. It is the first and oldest local coffee chain founded in 1996, one year before Starbucks arrived in the Philippines. Its first store is in that mall (Ayala Center Cebu) as a kiosk and still operating today next to Nike and Bershka. Today, it is the country's largest coffee chain which has since expanded in Metro Manila area and other cities. It has also gone international with over a dozen stores in Qatar.
Way to go! I never expected a foreigner to use the words "stink" and "excited" in the same sentence with reference to durian. It speaks volumes of how astute and adventurous you must be as travelers willing to try things outside your comfort zone. With such open-minded curiosity, every new and unfamiliar experience must be a marvelous learning opportunity.
CEBU is the country’s #1 most visited tourist destination, and for good reason. It is unrivaled in offering the widest range of things to do and attractions. Cebu is like the “Jack of all trades” among tourist spots in the Philippines.
You can enjoy scenic natural sites (waterfalls, beaches, mountain views, etc.), have exciting wildlife encounters, join a colonial heritage tour, shop at some of the World’s largest malls; world-class hotels and resorts; indulge yourself in local food including the prized Cebu Lechon! You can do all of these easily while staying at a luxury resort in Mactan Island, centrally located hotel/airbnb in the city, or a peaceful beachfront resort in the countryside. Your choice!
Cebu lives up to its moniker as "The Gateway to a Thousand Journeys." There isn't a shortage of explorations to do in Cebu. Cebu offers a unique travel experience as it is a place where the city and paradise meet. Cebu the one and only The Queen City of the South and of the Philippines. The First and the Oldest city in the Philippines. The First Capital of the Philippines. Cebu City is the Cradle of Christianity in Asia. The Tourism capital of the Philippines. The gem of Southeast Asia. ♥️👑

Its really nice seeing that your family is enjoying your stay in the Philippines. Your kid is cute and now has grown up since you arrive in our coyntry. Someday he will remember and reminisce all the good things in your travelling to different places.
Baby look soooo happy enjoying kid’s stuff.Never seen him so excited and really having fun.
I had my college years in Cebu City. And Ayala was my favorite place. Much better than Gaisano Country Mall, SM back then..
SM City Cebu is also undergoing expansion by adding a little over 100,000 square meters of mall space plus two 20-storey office towers and 9-storey tower for its Cebu campus of National University.
It’s great to know that your family is enjoying the beautiful malls of Cebu.
Hi guys, loving your journey. We came across you as we're planning our trip to Philippines next year. Appreciate your honest and vulnerable approach. Are you planning to visit Visayas as we're thinking of adding this to our El Nido and Siargao jorneys? Thanks! ❤
Welcome to Cebu! I live here and let me tell you that SM City Cebu opened on 1993 and the Ayala Mall on 1995. Another fact, that stage at the foodcourt in SM City Cebu was once an ice skating rink back in the 90's when it opened. And you could find a mini roller coaster in the area where the houseware is now.
Thank you for appreaciting the Philippines, Hope you guys have a wonderful trip keep the fun rise up. And God bless to your family ❤🇵🇭
So many great malls in the Philippines. Shopping is more fun there. Enjoy.
Little nyh wit the puppies could've been the cutest video ever!
Hello happy family enjoy explore beautiful mall in ayala ceebu.god bless stay safe
Hi ya from Brum.. Im living in England for 20 years now.. I should say that Filipinos love to shop at Bench for him/her as we dont have a primark like we have here in the UK.. you guys enjoy the islands you must try to explore bicol where the perfect cone volcano sits and Tagaytay city fir the view of Taal Volcano
Seaside Mall is the largest mall in metropolitan Cebu, but hands down Ayala is still has the best vibes for me. Manila has huge malls and a few are one of the top 10 biggest mall in the world. Uniqlo for me. H&M might be second. I also have Polo and Lacoste shirts but seldom wear it.
Hello guyz, welcome back to the philippines
Nice Work😊
Oh..! Welcome to my hometown Cebu City Philippines, Cebu, is the oldest city in the Philippines during Spanish time 1521
Enjoy guys and keep in safe and GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY ❤❤❤
For fruits and veggies I suggest go to fresh market places, cheaper and tastier but depends on the season of what fruits and veggies you can get from fresh market
Hi Elise! Your accent looks a lot like Kim Lowry's. She's actually Filipina but grew up in the UK 😊 she's in BGC Taguig now with her family!😊

Imagine it is still in the middle of the year, yet Christmas feels like seems around the corner.
Welcome to Cebu City!
Enjoy and have a wonderful time🥰💞
welcome to our malls guys.. take care always..
There are 4 Bo's Coffee outlets in Ayala Center Cebu alone, including its first outlet (a kiosk) and Primo by Bo's Coffee, its answer to Starbucks Reserve. Starbucks has 2 outlets as well in Ayala Center Cebu (one in Terraces and another in The Roof Garden).
You should have visited the sm seaside mall.. it's the newer SM mall in Cebu. 🇵🇭
christmas celebration starts in September in the PH . .
It’s my hometown! Ithanks to make blogs videos i misss a lot in my hometown
fruits are generally absurdly expensive in mall groceries, whereas if you buy in the local markets fruit prices are significantly lower like a quarter of their price as opposed to the ones you get on the malls
I missed Cebu cant wait to be there .
Watching from Toronto Canada MABUHAY

The main mall of Ayala Center Cebu will soon undergo renovations most probably next year. The Terraces, The South Wing and The Roof Garden will stay the same as they are later additions. The main mall has never been renovated since it was built 30 years ago in 1993. Unofficial news have it that aside from the renovation of the main mall, it will also undergo expansion by demolishing the existing car park building (near Seda Hotel) to give way to the new annex building for the mall.
Glad your are enjoying your time there in my birth Country. Missed it 😕
omg those dogssssss ♥️♥️♥️
❤❤❤❤I'm your fan❤❤❤❤Watching from UAE
Did u go to SM Cebu rooftop with beautiful garden to enjoy a lots of coffee shops …
Oh! Wow that Mall is massive and vibrant while malls here in america is dying.
You should go to SM Seaside Mall in Cebu.
Hello guys for me I like the forte of H&M, Zara, Urban Revivo, Mango, Massimo Dutti, Stradivarius and Topman in local brands Mossimo and CLN
Mid range brands faves are Strathberry, Danse Lente, Rejina Pyo, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Tory Burch and Polo Ralph Lauren.
When I used to live in the Philippines, my favorite brand is Bench.
Nyh you’re so adorable 💙 You probably know the fruits in the grocery store at the mall are ridiculously expensive! On top of that they are not fresh. I refuse to buy them in the grocery stores 🇵🇭. I always go in the market. I know you’re not in the Philippines wondering you all are now 😊? And will you come back to the Philippines? Take care you all wherever you are 🙏🌎
CEBU is a small island but has a hundreds of shopping malls in every area of the province.
Guy's try to visit sm seaside as well located at Srp 😊🤗
There's Another SM Mall in Cebu the SM Seaside. One of the biggest SM in the Philippines
Bench is a Filipino original brand and Penshop and of course I also loved Zara and Gap and H&M 👍👍👍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰❤️
It is to visit in Philipines in sepr. Oct nov. Dec . It is full of christmas display
Not even the 'ber's yet and you are already seeing Christmas? Earlier every year. For clothing: Cebuano local Loalde is great, and Bench. I was excited though when UK's Marks & Spencer came to Ayala long ago when Terraces launched. Good fit for ppl with my build.
Best video I've seen on PH mall life, and why it's a necessity. well done...especially with your toddler :). And thank you for that Kettle tip. Shocking. 🤯
Ayala is LEGIT
Try the Mangosteen fruit. That’s the most expensive fruit in the US. It’s $13./lb.
I think they have local artesanal coffee at Bo's coffee Tableya choco and coffee shop have artesanal chocolates
Me as a Filipino i have no special preference for a clothing brand. As long as its comfy and simple, considering our hot and humid climate and of course the price is reasonable.😊👍
The best time to experience our Filipino mall culture is December. That's a whole different level of energy and vibes. Your kid will definitely enjoy it.
Welcome to cebu, guys✌✌✌👍👍👍👊
LANSONES IS THE BEST FRUIT!!!! LOVE IT.
Go to Vikings Restrauant for very good food. They have great food for everyone you will enjoy.😊
Enjoy ♥️🇵🇭👍
My grandchildren love "5 below" store 🤣🤣
It's like am watching ANGELINA JOLIE AND JASON MOMOA ENGAGED!!❤❤❤
fruits are usually priced higher during christmas season
Here in the philippines cebu my choose mall is sm seaside mall
For local brands we prefer Bench, penshoppe, oxygen, Human and Jag for international brands Mango, Zara, Paul. & Bear, superdry, guess, uniqluo, aero for luxury brands Gucci, D&G, Armani, lacoste, Ferragamo Salvatore, CK ect alot of brands Filipino will just buy not for the brands but for the style or designs if the clothes will suits them
My favorite store to shop is TK Maxx 😁
Favorite SHop - Uniqlo
welcome to my home city cebu....
my favorite mall
I almost löst my son in manila..please keep on eye always with your son.
Not long now Christmas decorations will be out again in the Philippines Starting September...lol. 😂
I usually shop at banana republic for the most part but Uniqlo & Zara is fine.
I'm also shocked by those prices! To think it's in Cebu!!
You try visit bgc uptown mall
Uniqlo or Penshoppe's my fave clothing brand haha
I gotta say your kid has the nicest hair. He's gonna break a lotta hearts when he gets older.
Kamesita fav clothing store
The last time, i came to Cebu, i tried looking for this part of the Ayala mall. But this place may have grown so back. I was not able to see the part shown on the Cebu. So Robinsons win. Since SM was also far away.
Xmas in July 😵💫
@ 4:42 In the Philippines there is Christmas in July.. thats why its not true that Christmas will start in September.. its in July..
Your wife is like a beauty queen
I think it's Uniqlo. Followed by H&M.
They have popular local brands like Bench and Penshoppe but Uniqlo has since beaten them.
Ya zara i like it
Our favorite store is ukay-ukay...😅
Divisoria. Inexpensive stuff aplenty. It’s all many of us can afford.😊
That's Lan-zo-nes( how we Filipinos pronounce) the other one is Rambutan
