Still amazes me to this day, that all police cars don’t have the feature, where it cuts off the siren when you put it in park..

Soundoff Signal's BluePrint system allows for that. It all comes down to what the agency wants.

Problem is agencies don’t like to listen to what the experts know. Park kill is a simple wire in many instances that they just won’t spend money on, same with white cutoff. They don’t listen on pattern input, light placement, etc.

Most agencies do, regardless of the brand of lights and sirens they use, but there are some that either feel like they can't afford the upgrade or just don't feel the need for it.

@@chpman2013 true, personally when I got out and was trying to deal with someone, I wouldn't want the siren blaring in my ears

@@JCourts2k23 I don't think anyone would, because you don't want to be shouting over your siren.

We have a lot of problems with our Code 3 products. I don't know why my department keeps buying them for our command and utility vehicles. All of our apparatus and ambulances have Whelen and have no issues. The Code 3 lights burn out on a regular basis. The Z controller takes an abnormal amount of force to activate the buttons and we constantly have problems with lights turning themselves on and off. The department went with Whelen for one of our new first responder vehicles and like magic, all the problems when away. They then, for some reason, went back to Code 3 for the next command car and boom, problems.

Interesting. We have nothing but problems with whelen. Our pods burn out and water gets in constantly.

@@Maverick7538 That sounds like installation issues. We have trucks with OG Whelen outfits that are 15+ years old without issues. I have had a Code 3 controller develop sentience and wouldn't let me turn the lights off which is a slight issue. Never experienced that with Whelen or Fed Sig.

Does this have a provision for dual sirens?

Yes, it does. It has a built-in Banshee Amp as well on select models.
