I want "Kanzawa Iron Works Drill Guide DX 13mm with chuck K-802-2" for a long time ... The vertical drilling jig I have made so far is "Maximum drilling depth that can only be used with long blades. However, there is a drawback that it becomes shallower due to the jig. There was also the drawback that the blade rubbed against the metal part of the jig.
So, this time, I decided to make a drill guide that is comparable to Kamisawa. When you pick up the ingredients, all of them are not sold at home improvement stores. I couldn't actually pick it up, so I bought a lot of things in one or eight (omitted in the video).
At the stage of arranging the ingredients, there are only failures. My heart is about to break. The biggest failure is the linear slide rail. I thought it would be enough to slide 250mm, so I bought two 250mm lengths, but of course 250mm did not slide and it was about 150mm. Moreover, it is thinner than I expected to see the real thing. I'm worried. Whether to buy a new big one or add it ... After thinking about various things, I decided to add two while I was almost crying. I think that if you chose one size larger from the beginning, you could design it even more easily.
I was planning to use a chuck type, so I made a one-touch type as a bonus. The design is exactly the same as the chuck type, and the depth stopper is installed in a hurry, so the maximum drilling depth is shallow. I had to design the extension holder to lower the mounting position a little more.
Including the materials I bought experimentally this time, I was able to purchase Mr. Kamisawa's drill guide with a margin, but the completed one (especially the chuck type) is more accurate than I imagined and I am very satisfied. The amount of slide is small, but it was originally made for the purpose of making holes for dowels and demon nuts straight, so it's okay.
