Man if Olivier Nkhouma can continue to play like that we are going deep.. Goodness gracious. When I think back to the sweet run Tennessee had back in January, I remember it started with Olivier Nkhouma not missing a bucket for like 3 games straight. That is when Tennessee was at their best. If he has truly found himself again, watch out.

I'm a Tar Heels fan all my life. I grew up with Rick where I live here in N.C. I'm so happy for him especially after losing Ziegler and not doing well in SEC tourney. Rick's a great coach. But most of all a wonderful person.
I miss him in the Big 12.

Pretty sure the entire state of Texas would disagree with you on Barnes. Year after year he had big time recruits and underachieved (ie having Durant and DJ Augustine and finishing 3rd in big 12 and lost in the round of 32 2007).
You can put together great teams every year but the players have to execute coaches get heat for players not having good games.. coach Tom Izzo Michigan state has only one national championship only one !! He’s got like 10 final four appearances it’s difficult to make it that far and win it all just because Barnes don’t have a title don’t mean anything he’s do one though

Love the Big Vol win, but Duke won't be down for long. It's easy to see they'll be a force to be reckoned with next season and for the foreseeable future.

6 years ago, Duke was worn down in a physical game in the Round of 32 vs. South Carolina (that year, Duke won the ACC tournament championship as well).
Never heard of him until today but Nkamhoua closed out this game today

Duke should be proud I am a fan I actually had them winning the natty but this is march so I guess anything can happen. Moved on from legendary coach, won acc title, 19-1 with fully healthy lineup, swept UNC. If the freshman stay one more year then they'll make a deeper playoff run next yr. IMO none of the freshman are nba ready yet.
Only one NBA PRO and that will be lively eventually. Everybody doesn't even stack up to pro quality. Imagine we had Trevor keels and he gets no burn in the league. JOHN has alot to uphold. We expect to compete that wasn't that by the least. WAS EMBARASSED BY OUR TOUGHNESS.

Flip- moves really well for 7 footer, but he needs to get stronger and improve his 3 pt shooting
Proctor- shotcreating talent ability is there but he needs still shoot 3 better and improve passing
Lively- he is complete when it comes to rebounding and shot blocking but he needs a better post interior game. If he enters the league now he will be just a poor man’s Rudy Gobert
@@stephcurran1724 I agree with all of this. I hope the NIL deals keep them satisfied enough financially to stay. They all made so much progress through the season and can get exponentially better with another year or two.
Duke was overrated all season. It's the start of a slow decline in Durham.

No that game will decide who gets to play for the east region. Sweet 16 is a regional semifinal. Elite 8 are regional championships with final four representing each regions winner.

Mark mitchell would’ve saved us easily if he didn’t get hurt he is a presence when it comes to rebounding and defense. Proctor was the only other one to show up today and not to mention the refs missed many calls, but mostly calls for UT

@@mileshigh6287 the way this year went for UNC, last season felt more like just a good run than how good they will be under Hubert..sure they beat Duke twice, but they also limped their way into the NCAA as an 8 seed (or something like that)..playing a rival, even a bad team can play better..but overall, UNC was horrible....the true test for Davis will be when he has a team full of his guys..even last years team was more Roys players..im not sayin I want Davis to not be good or that he wont be, but this year didnt make him look too good..I think if they hadnt had that run to the NC game, their might be some serious doubt about him being successful

We lost our identity somewhere along the way. Stifling defense and good shot selection on offense is who we are. I think we are getting back to that now at the right time.

@@yaimavol Possibly but no team can be overlooked in this tournament. Florida Atlantic is 31-3 and FDU beat Purdue. They can't overlook either team on account of it being a lower seed and one not in a Power 5 conference. Case in point with Missouri and Princeton.
