Holy crap. They priced every little nook and cranny. I'm surprised they didn't price each individual sheet of toilet paper
Haha right⊠the towels had my dying đ
đ
I feel like if you stood in one place for to long someone would yell "Jean, quick, get us a sticker? We've got a live one...and she's running around without a price?!' đđ God love em!
OMG you should have snatched up that red leather jacket and chaps! Wowza!
Yes! They would have been worth hundreds!
I would have gotten discouraged and walked out after a quick look aroundâŠbut you powered through! I agree-that house was adorable! Those martini stirrers are so cute. Was surprised to see the jazzy leather coat and chaps! Big Braves fan so I would have snagged that hat too. Great finds! Thanks for always taking us along!
Hey! This is the first video I saw of yours and I subbed right away. I really like the way you explain things, put up comps as you are showing thw item and comparing the prices and also saying how much it is etc. Makes it really interesting to someone like myself that doesn't get the value on certain items...oh yeah...and talking yourself out of impulse items lol. "Walk away from the plants!" Great job
Love the way you show prices of stuff through the video even if you're not going to buy it !!! Really cool thanks for the video and keep up the good work girl !!!
You should have just bought the house, and forget the stuff. I loved that house.
Your such a joy to watch Kayla đA breath of fresh air love your channel â€
I don't know if this was the video or not, but it was an Estate Sale where you ran to the Polly Pockets and I believe to the left was a "Mushroom Chair" worth hundreds so thought I'd let you know in case your not into vintage 70's Mushroom Chairs as they can be extremely valuable and I'm almost sure that's what it was sitting to the left of the big bin you were going through for Polly Pockets. Just FYI
Some great finds. Wish we had those types of yard& Estate sales here. I have found good will but even those aren't great. You find the right sales and score. There IS an art to this and you're a pro! Hope everything is going well for you! Wish you all the happiness in your life and the best finds in your business. â€
I canât believe you didnât buy the red jacket with the leather chaps. I would think that those would sell for some good money.
And who knew about the salt and pepper shaker set?đłđ«ą
Thanks so much for taking us along.
Love your videos. đ„°
Wow. I agree that estate sale house 3as gorgeous and had some really gorgeous pieces of art, furniture, and home decor! ( : Good choice on the dal and pepper shakers! Really cute! ( :
That timer and globe were worth sooo much money! Great finds! ( : You did fantastic, Kayla! Great job! ( :
Your "heck yeah" in the mirror made me smile. You are so much fun to watch and I love seeing your process. Hope all is well by you.
Shoulda bought that first case knife little momma
I love your tenacity! When I saw those high prices when you walked in, my urge was to leave. But you found some great things after all!!!
My thoughts too!
Kayla, you are genie in being able to find the reselling gems in what to me seemed a rather overpriced estate sale! You go giiiiirrrrllll! đ
very overpriced
Nice estate sale. And I agree - a really pretty house. There were some nice pieces of furniture. I know you weren't in the market, and neither am I, but I can't help myself! đ You made some great buys and those salt and pepper mills were great!
They really did have some neat stuff! Thanks for always watching and commenting, Lucinda âșïž
@@thehomeschoolingpicker
Of course! I wouldn't miss it for the world!
Kayla, you can remove burnt cooking stains or built up grime on saucepans by using a solution of dry cooking salt or rock salt and a dry cloth. You gently rub the stain and it works beautifully. Hope this helps.
I had a store before and had one of those globes... don't even ask what I sold it for and it was the regular full size globe đ«Ł. Each inlay is the gemstone from whatever that particular area is known for. They are often given for graduation gifts. Cool piece. You should keep it as you transition to this next chapter in your world. Keep doing you girl, nice job!
That slab of polished rock you picked up is petrified wood and is known as Rainbow Wood or Arizona Wood and can bring good money
Always fun shopping with you! đ
See ya next Thursday ~ Amy đ
Kayla, love the hairstyle and you look awesome today. Well you always do. I loved the house and the things inside were just as great. Glad you found the Crocs and that globe. WOW. You were all up in our grills LOL. No, you weren't, just kidding. Enjoyed another great vlog and hope everything is going great for you and your kiddos.
I loved that little salt and pepper shaker where the pepper fit inside the salt! So unique. I couldnât believe you didnât pick it up. đź
150.00 awesome Kayla !!!
WOW...They had that rocking chair priced super high!!
Let me start by saying I absolutely LOVE those chairs!! They are the most comfortable hardwood you'll ever sit on, hands down! The way it contours the your body is a skill few possess & is the epitome of perfection in the modern day woodworking furniture practice using old school techniques!!
I have an almost identical rocker (obviously, no two pieces will ever be exactly the same because they're handmade with whatever local branches are found to make them, meaning each one is unique).
My doctors office is in the middle of Amishville & some of his patients have paid their medical bills by bartering with items like these handmade rocking chairs. My nurses know to put me in one of the 3 rooms that have these chairs because it's the only comfortable seat in the place. Every other seat triggers my fibromyalgia and I leave completely kinked up & out of whack.
Mine was made locally by the Amish too & I paid $85. And I actually overpaid because I got into a bidding war at the auction & I was determined that that chair was going home with me that night! đ
Worth every penny tho!!
I did that auction bidding war thing 1 other time for a circular wrought iron glasstop coffee table. It has a raised top with a clock in it. Absolutely beautiful! I love it!! I think I ended up paying $100 for that? Afterwards, the other bidder who was an older lady came up & asked me, "Out of curiosity, how high were you willing to go on that table I was bidding on against you?" I told her that I fell in love with the table as soon as i saw it & was willing to spend up to $250 on it, which is what I had brought with me that night, plus break out the credit card if necessary. She said she wouldn't have gone anywhere near that high & wish she would've known beforehand so she could have saved me some money. I thought that was incredibly sweet!!
When you find that item that calls to you, if you can afford it, get it! Don't live with buyers remorse!!! You never know if you'll find it again!
And that stand @ the 10:56 mark is gorgeous!!
I got one of those turtle lamps for $2 at a yard sale and sold it for $40. One of my first sales as an eBay âreseller.â
I help a local estate sale facilitator who will price some stuff but not every single towel and wash cloth. In fact, she generates a greater profit pricing on the fly and bundling than when she prices the majority of stuff.
I found a set of the Perflex grinders at the Goodwill bins and sold them for $170. Bolo for sure.
Kayla you have such a bubbly personality that draws people to you...good luck in your travels and sales...im hooked on your videos...đ»
Your gentleness.. and respect to other peopleâs life â€ïžđ
Estate sale companies act like they don't want to sell anything. Such ridiculous pricing on 90% of the items.
I look forward to her videos! She seems like the sweetest person ever.
You are such a pleasure to watch and very respectful of everyone around you, love
Those red chaps and jacket would have looked good on you Great job love your videos â€ïžđčđđ
Hey Kayla!! Another great video!! Only an EXPERT can turn $40 into $400! Excellent return! Praying all is well and looking forward to another great video! You're a HOOT! You make us feel like we're in your brain with you, figuring out if all this stuff is worth it! We're all peddling as fast as we can! Hahaha! â€ïž
Excellent buys today! What a great sale to fall on . So happy for you
Happy Thursday! Love your picks n that globe! The house was gorgeous! Take care â€
I saw the kalifano globe and screamed pick it up !!! I collect them , my 15. Lapis pen set globe is worth 800. I'm no selling ! These are works of art ,also have big platters of his .
That globe is killer! How cool! Would look great in an office. Nice finds Kayla
So excited you got some good finds!â€
Always enjoy going along with you on these adventures you have wonderful skills for sourcing good.
Great salt and pepper shakers!! Hope you get a decent amount for them!! I also loved the rocking chair and that fringed red leather jacket, WOW!! I know you didn't get the jacket, but do you remember how much it was??? Thx! Happy picking âŒâŒ Hope you and the kids are doing well âŒ
Ha! I love that company. Iâm from Georgia but Iâm college right now out of state but if I had been in town I wouldâve been there. Great folk at kickin pickin-- theyâd always give me good bundle deals
Athens, Georgia is my hometown. Who would I ever think that I would see that. Thanks so much for sharing. Love your videos â„ïž
Another great video! I always look forward to Thursdays. I actually bought something to flip on eBay at a yard sale last weekend and thought of you! This was at a neighborhood yard sale and the first place I stopped. I was so happy, I left and didnât go to any other houses. đ€Šââïž I donât know how you do it!
I used to go to estate sales and auctions with my mother in law in Kentucky and Tennessee when I was living in the south before moving here in California..đ€đđ·Thanks for sharing..I still do this from time to time when I have the chance..
I was trying to get you to hear me through my computer lol.....I wanted that turtle light and would've paid for everything and my second favorite thing is the salt and pepper set. Freaking awesome Estate sale finds young lady. Good job!
That's the worst part about watching reseller sourcing videos. Especially when they're at the Goodwill bins. I always seem to either see something I want personally, or something that they didn't buy that I would have bought to flip. đ
Those turtle lights use to be like $15 brand new in the late 90's. Definitely not worth $45
Is it getting close to Garage Sale season for you Kayla? We went to our first three today in Upstate NY. It was so excitingâŠI canât help think of you every time I shop now. I will say this looks like something Kayla would get. Iâm not a reseller but always think as one, if that makes any sense. Thank you for another enjoyable video!
I can't believe you can leave your things just sitting there. Here in S. Fla. you could tell the wife your putting your items next to where they're sitting and come back and the husband has sold your finds. I've found if I don't carry everything with me..more than likely it will be gone. I lost a box of old baseball cards that way once..never made that mistake again. Its nice to see there are still some honest people still out there.
I've been picking for 40 years, I know in the early days I passed up so much.
I really enjoy your channel!!
Realtree Crocs, Perfex Salt and Pepper Grinder Mill Set, Alexander Kalifono, Globe Paperweight, Atlanta Braves Hat, Wall Switch Timer, Martini Stirrers, Lee Sports Georgia Bulldogs Shirt, Thanks Kayla Hope you and your family are doing well Take Care. Out
Oh my sweet Kayla. I was so excited to see your new video this morning. My neighborhood is having a community wide garage sale so I've already been out and shopped. I see something and feel like I have a little bird on my shoulder named Kayla telling me to buy it or not. I just bought some Revereware last week in great condition for $5 for 3 skillets and 2 sauce pots with lids. It was a great score. I hope you're doing well and I just love all of your videos and surely don't miss any of them.
Enjoying your new video. I have been watching some of the âguyâ podcasts fiefs who are friends of yoursBUT they are very addicted to video games that I have little interest in. Thank you for your channel. Best of wishes.
Beautiful treasures you found that estate sale was great! I thought some prices were a bit too high and at those prices I thought will they sell them. Anyway was just awesome! âïžâïžâïžâïžâïžđ
WOW Kayla that was a great Estate Sale đđ
I want that HOME !!!!!!!đ
Oh that western red jacket was awesome đ
Your nails look great. Love your sneakers. Those salt and pepper shakers.....WHAT!!??!! đđđđ
You definitely have the reseller knack , you know how to take the average items and make the good money for them
Great work Kayla, another fun video of cool finds. What a pretty, spick and span house.
Cool finds!! Youâre an amazing picker!! â€
Love ya girl.. you are so awesomeâŠso love watching your videos keep up the good work..
Nice little haul there. I'll be keeping an eye out for some salt and pepper shakers like that. lol They had some neat things but, too pricey. You did good with the things you picked up. I thought the same thing about the red leather outfit. Would love to see the person that wore that back in the day. Never seen red leather chaps before. My late husband was a musician and had black ones that he wore on stage. But, the red is something else. Thanks for taking me shopping with you on this rainy day.
Watching from England , the sound of your voice together with your accent is kickin !! Love it !
I found one of those inlay mandolin music boxes the other day. I was surprised they weren't worth more because they are so beautiful.
Some very nice things in that house, but it was not priced to get rid of it. It was priced to make a profit.
You pulled some great treasures out of that cute house! Another great video! â€
I have gotten spoiled just watching your show I'm amazed at how you make such good deals I really love watching you on this show doing all these good deals that you find spoiled by your show thank you for sharing
Love your videos. Estate sales are kinda boring since it's so hard to find bargains but somehow you always seem to find them.đ Can't wait till garage sales start. I hit my first 3 yesterday.
The house is gorgeous and so many beautiful thingsđ„°
That globe is called a gem globe. Gems from all over the world
I am shocked at that salt and pepper shaker.... Wowza.đThat bulldog shirt was very cool.... being from GA and a fan. Our bulldog doesn't look like that any longer so I dont know how old that was but it was ooooollllldddd. Our college started 80 years before the civil war. They shut down for three years during that war. Because everyone had to go fight.... The footbal team came along in 1891 ....How Bout Them DAWGS...
I didnât even realise how early I am, but I love your videos! It inspires me that you can find such good stuff at yard sales and more for the fact I also live in KY!
Heck yeah! Just gotta stay on the hunt⊠thanks so much for watching
You guys are doing such a great job one day you will have a house better than that. Keep up the great work, Leroy.
Love the video ! You did great. One request: when you hold items up pls say the asking price louder as we cannot heard you & cannot read the tags. Itâs a way to educate your viewers , we can learn a lot that way. Thank you.
Walk away from the plants KaylaâŠâŠâŠloved it. đđMade me laugh. Sure miss you. đHope all is well. Prayers for you and your family.
Great estate sale!! Hope you find some good garage sales soon!!â„ïž
I just found that same salt and pepper grinders this past week. I got them for myself and then saw how much they sold for. Had to convince myself it was okay to keep them. đ at least I know if I change my mind I can get my $6 back and then some. đ
U guys are one of two channels that I NEVER miss...the other is not a seller...Alana Fine Restaurant Stories..her site just hit enough views/subscribers that CZcams gave her a special framed plaque...and u deserve one more! I'd like to SUBSCRIBE to u if it helps u, but I'm totally unversed in computer usage and don't know how to do that! Just keep on doing what ur doing, cos ur the best out there, IMO!!
The bent wood rocking chair in the LR was straight up retail new pricing, I sell them in my gift shop in the Smokies. Some pricing was Crazy!
Hi Kayla l don't always watch u shows but l must say u have become my all time favorite picker few weeks will go by then l catch up I'm from cape town south Africa we don't have yard or estate sales like u have maybe some charity shops if we had l will never be home l really feel the excitement when l do find something vintage on a flea market sometimes so u give great pleasure with u picking l wish u best of picking and selling good luck on u adventures â€
Love Thursdays with you! â€
Aww thanks Laurie!! Means a lot
I do too Laurie. It is one of the highlights of my week. Kayla is our little ray of sunshine.
I think the thing u called a fancy salt and pepper shaker was a grinder
That restroom sign!! "Number 1 Only?" Who is the control-freak that is going to monitor that?! LOL!!!
You could just go use it, then walk out and say Too late, Haha.
The Dump patrol

You never disappoint I always look forward to Thursday
You have a great eye for spotting treasures đđđâšïžâšïžđ€
Where the home owners down sizing or had someone died, they have lovely furniture
Ok girl buy those red chaps and jacket for you and go hit the sales lol đ
I'am Your Newest Subscriber You Walked Right by That Flag I Would Have Bought It
Nice estate sale. Great video! đ
I keep 3 large Longaberger baskets in my trunk for estate sales. They hold a ton and you donât have to walk around with your hands full.
Loved the video. Kaylađ
Iâm so glad you didnât grab that art glass music note thing. Those are mass produced in China, and so many people try to pass them off as Murano made. And thereâs tons of them for sale everywhere.
There were some cute things at the Estate sale, but definitely Estate sale prices, for the most part. I've found in past that prices at Estate sales are usually on the higher side where as garage sales, many don't look up prices or just want stuff gone.
Great finds today!!!
Fun sale - even with creepy Debra đđ
Just found ya channel âŠ. Awesome contentâŠ. Keep up the great work đđđđ
Itâs a good thing I wasnât thereâŠI would have purchased so many things and then just added them to my collection. I really donât need any more treasures.
I love oriental decor, cats ,Angels thatâs what I look for . I love your channel, new scribes here.đ
Found you about a month ago and have learned so much from you and Matt. Thank you.
Fabulous finds!
Love your video so much â€â€â€â€
Lol on the #1 bathroom rule! Gotta love it! Let us pray no one has explosive diarrhea hahaha!
I have the same dolphin bottle opener! Had it for 25 years đ€
No way! Thatâs awesome. Iâll probably have that one in another 25 :)
@@thehomeschoolingpicker Couldn't bloody believe it when you picked it up lol, love the globe btw and you too mate, never miss an upload on Friday here in Oz â€â€â€
Enjoyed your video. I so wanted that poster with all of the Beatles albums on it.
Thanks Lynn! Was a cool poster for sure
