    I have this exact kit, them change pipes on the driver side are a pain in the ass to take off, but all said and down its great and makes the engine bay look nice. 😀 the change pipe is smoother so when I go up a bridge at 50mph I don't have to down shift to go up it. I wouldn't say it gives you more power but I think this kit holds boost more efficient!

    The only thing I’m not a fan of is the branding on EVERY PART. Jeez I want to pop my hood and say, “that’s clean.” Not “SINISTER DIESEL SINISTER DIESEL SINISTER DIESEL LESEID RETSINIS SINISTER DIESEL SINISTER DIESEL!!!”
    It’s just a bit much for me.

    So I installed the hot side and the upper part of the pipe from the boot to the turbo keeps sliding off is it supposed to sit flush against the boot or is there supposed to be a gap?

    Why don't they sell it in California?

    • @jackallred8228
      @jackallred8228 Před rokem

      Because California is strict on engine mods and the folks at sinister diesel probably don’t wanna deal with backlash from californias government

    Will this work on a truck with dual alternators?

    • @sinisterdiesel6440
      @sinisterdiesel6440  Před 6 lety +1

      The hot side pipe does not fit a dual alternator truck but the cold side and intake elbow does. Hope that helps, and if you have more questions you can call our tech at 877-976-8982.

    The pipes don’t fit properly and cost 3 times as much as other shiny brightly colored CAC pipes. Sinister is nothing but a burn. I know, I worked in a machine shop in San Diego that did all the work on the blocks and cylinder heads for the city bus system…and I bought a set of these before I realized all that…and had a hell of a time getting the drivers side on and it kept popping off because it is too short and the bends are off.
