This is day 217 of my journey to get to a rating of 2000 on chess.com.
In these games I played the Jobava London and absolutely dominated my openings, I just need to slow down and find the critical ideas in the critical moments. Eughhh... yeah.

Early on in this series you were often running into time trouble. Now you are just snapping off move almost without a thought. In game 1 rh8 is just a wasted move that does very little, and you spent 3 seconds on it. Then Ne6 while you did take 16 seconds, you clearly didn't consider blacks options while there was over 8.5 minutes on the clock. Then in subsequent moves you take 10 and then 30 seconds and the game is lost and there is seven minutes and 51 seconds on the clock. On a key move you took 30 seconds to make, but 6 seconds later you realize you have blundered the queen. The second game was more of the same, one snap move after another. Remember that advice you gave to the lower ranked guy in the last challenge? But another thing these two games shows is that you have gotten into a bad habit of just giving up after you make a mistake. And that we will talk at another time.
@@chrisbadger8684 I had a recent game on the channel where I was behind for the entire game and then won off them blundering their queen at the end. I don't like to give up, I think it's just me being frustrated with myself more than anything, but I guess a few times I have given up when I click resign, but I think when I do resign it really is over... Yeah... Some people on the channel have complained when I haven't resigned in the past, so IDK about this really... But yeah

I know too well how painful these losses are, I dropped from 1750 to 1660 in one day😞. But it's all part of the process and we'll eventually get there, it just takes a lot of time and effort.

ouch that queen discovery in game 1 :( crazy how one decision (choosing to tempo his queen instead of putting the king in check) completely collapses your position
and man hanging your knight in game 2. i feel your pain, i'm in a huge slump and the obvious blunders are so frustrating!
