Floor is just an unbelievable singing presence live. Tarja and Annette both brought their own unique voices, but Floor seems to have really embraced being part of the band, and her energy at the close of this song is undeniable.

The cameras are so well done because this show was shot as a live CD/DVD called "Showtime, Storytime", which I personally have. I am sure you could purchase it somewhere like on Amazon or directly from the label (I am not sure if its Century Media or Nuclear Blast because Nightwish was once on Century Media and I am not sure when exactly they went to NB). It also has the documentary that covers that world tour leading up to that Wacken show, even the part during the US leg of the tour where they lost Annette and Floor came on to help them finish the tour.

One of my favourite Nightwish songs from end of an era is Creek Mary's Blood. Its a really underrated song, granted not as heavy as most of NW stuff, but would definitely recommend checking it out.

So you guys like THIS song ay??? Ghost Love Score is Nightwish's Magnum Opus...you know like Beethoven's Ninth? Now a word or three about Dutch Frontwoman Floor Jansen. She is a trained opera singer but she can sing in almost every genre of music. In her youth she was a competitive bodybuilder at 6'1" 200lbs. Floor was brought into Nightwish as a replacement for the previous singer Anette Olzon. After this concert she was asked to become a permanent member of the band which she accepted. Due to the worldwide pandemic, Floor has recorded several songs in her home studio which you can find here on youtube. The ones she sings in Dutch Finnish and German have English subtitles thanks to her recognition of the massive increase in her English-speaking fans. We love you Floor!!! [BTW one of her fans bought a "WET FLOOR" sign from a hardware store and gave it to her wrapped as a present. She brought it to a rehearsal and put it in front of her mic stand LOL!! :-D :-D]

Whats interesting about this show is that Floor Jansen was hired shortly before this concert and tour started and had only 48 hours to learn the setlist before the show and she performed flawlessly

Well, I'm very biased, and (not so) secretly hoping you would return to having Nightwish every two weeks (which I recall you once said you would?), because there is SO MUCH to see and hear. Regardless, I'll be here all the way!
Another great symphonic metal band is Within Temptation. They started at the same year as Nightwish (1996). They also have in common that they to have a strong female vocalist (Sharon den Adel). Like Floor Jansen and Simone Simons she is Dutch aswell and her vocals are insane (of the 3 mentioned she my personal favorite). They have many great songs but a good one to start with is "The truth beneath the rose". This clip is from their "Black symphony" concert DVD. On this DVD they were backed by a full symphonic orchestra (60 people) and choir (20 people). czcams.com/video/GiQrm6nOyQ8/video.html This concert was my real first exposure to this band and i watched the whole show in one go, not knowing any of the songs. It was a revelation and they got into symphonic metal. Do yourself a favor and take a look at it. I can garantee You won't be disappointed.
They should start having Within Temptation days on saturdays, then we would get Within Temptation and Nightwish in the weekend! That is of course if they like it, but I don't see how they could not like WT when they're enjoying Nightwish as well. Heart Of Everything is still one the best albums I've ever heard, and they have loads of great songs. And I agree that they should react to Black Symhony versions.
