I'm so with you on keeping it simple! My hair skews over moisturized and overly soft so I usually just use a styler with hold. Also, I'm jealous of your diffuse time! Mine is about 50 minutes right now with the dyson. I get so bored. I have a haircut appointment next week so hopefully after that it'll be less.
keeping it simple is the best routine ever! ahh man you probably have more hair than me, I'm jealous 😂 I usually just scroll on Tiktok when I diffuse haha hope your haircut shortens it tho!
I just saw this video and I came to realization after my hair was so big when brushing it and photos of me younger with wavy/curly hair. I’ve bleached my hair and done heat damage for years and I’m trying to regain my wavy/curly hair again.. hopefully this works well ❤️❤️

I'm glad it helps! I haven't tried the pureology leave in and olaplaex no 7 but I've heard great things with those! I've tried the Giovanni LA Hold styling gel if that's what you're referring to and it worked pretty good - I love the strong hold but it's a little on the thicker consistency for my fine-ish hair so not my favorite but if it's working for you then it shouldn't be a problem! 🙌🏼
You should try the garnier fructis cocoa butter leave in! and see what you think! it's what i've used since i first learned i have curly wavy hair from your tiktoks and im still using it, it makes your hair so soft and smells super good (they're hair oil is good too)

yup I wear a satin bonnet over it when sleeping! helps protect my hair and prevent frizz 🫶 I don't refresh often but when I do I like using refreshing sprays (I like the Curlsmith moisture memory reactivator or Aussie curl refresher) You can also mix a bit of cream or gel with water in a bottle and use that as a refreshing spray!
Question, shouldn't you apply heat protectant/leave in conditioner as the first step before any styling products? If so, do you put it on wet hair after the shower before plopping or after plopping on damp hair?
Nope! I only ever brush when I’m about to shower anyways! Brushing makes our hair frizzy & big because it separates the curl/wave clumps. I know it’s hard to unlearn brushing everyday cause that was all we’ve been taught but that really only works with straight hair 😭 I don’t do anything throughout the week but sometimes I’ll refresh and separate tangles here and there

Would you be able to make a video on aftercare, for the days following wash day? And also how to stop hair getting so greasy?🥺 My hair is so fine, it’s wavy but fine and it gets greasy the next day and I’m tempted to wash it again! 💗

Plopping makes my curls separate into strings. Any ideas to prevent this?
