Well, I wouldn't say it is SO unsafe to go there even now. Actually we're planning to go back this June. We will probably simply spend more time in the hotel itself without trips involving mixing with other people. Currently hotels in Egypt seem to have real high hygiene standards (it's in their own best interest), so I guess it's easier to get infected in places we live in Europe or the States (we are from Poland) than over there. Just my opinion.

@@mariuszk.4316 Thanks for responding, June looks like a hot month. If Great Britain relaxes the travel rules hopefully I can go. Summer in GB is a miserable time for hay fever sufferers.

@@leongb6192 Hay fever - now that sucks! Yeah, June can get hot. We usually go to Egypt in December, but then also in April, May, or June. Actually throughout the year the temperature difference is not as it is in England, and definitely not like in Poland where we sometimes get really freezing cold winters and ofter very hot summers. June/July/August are the hottest months in Egypt, but keep in mind that the Red Sea coast is quite windy, which makes the heat bearable. All the hotels are along the beaches right on the shore. When I was young I spent a few summers at my uncle's in Birmingham, so I know about British summers!
