You can take advantage of the things you have and recycle them in a neat and clean manner without cost, such as a box of coffee whitener, collect and clean it and write the names of things on it. You can also benefit from coffee bottles for spices and others and so on, dear. You just need a little attention and organization. Start with yourself if you have the will to change. 🕊️

Still working on being able to afford better things, but it's at least a step in the right direction! All it takes is more purposeful buying and more purposeful reusing, but that is something that demands mental energy that many folks don't have right now. When folks are working 60 hours a week, it's hard to think of anything else, but we must keep trying every day!!

New brown bags (without cockroaches) are for fruits and vegetables that give off ripening gases which, when they accumulate in plastic bags rot the produce faster. The hanging plastic (I hate plastic with a passion!) bag may be for baking soda to absorb odors in the fridge. I just use the box it came in as baking soda residue on the outside of it kills all bugs. Spread around the house it kills bugs, too, and is non-toxic.

@@maecarpenter6735 I think that green colored something she put in last was some kind of deodorizer/baking soda container. Why keep ratcheting up bills and build mountains of landfills full of waste that gives off deadly methane gases? Where will we have room for our children and our gardens? When will we stop killing ourselves with out of control consumerism? Can we start today and remind ourselves every time we put food into our mouths? No plastic, no waste.
