what do you think about the scrap package ind the main? and furthermore, what do you think about a true king package in the side or even in the main?
@@AJANI97 I was previously playing a different variant that used the scrap package, occasionally lythosagm, and a denglong package for nine pillars. When it popped off the board was basically unbeatable with a bunch of negates backed up by a counter trap (if done right: apollousa for 3, Baronne, denglong or chaofeng with nine pillars, and ultimate conductor, sometimes with pank as well, plus whatever is in hand, and the ability to search ash blossom if you pop chaofeng with nine pillars), but the problems were consistency, deck space, and disruption. There’s hardly any room for non-engine, if not straight up having no room for it, meaning it’s win the die roll or hope your hand can go second into a full opponents board since you don’t really have handtraps to stop them. Additionally, consistency was a problem since a few of the combos were only possible with specific cards in hand and a lot of them didn’t have Misc protection if you want the full board, plus a couple one-ofs that you don’t really wanna draw and the potential to brick on things you don’t wanna. And finally, even just one well timed disruption via handtrap or otherwise could just end the turn, meaning you either have to sacrifice more deck space for things like Crossout designator and called by the grave plus the targets for it or just pass and hope you live, and dedicating space to the Crossout package makes the consistency and lack of non-engine problems worse
It locks you into Wyrm, Dragon, Sea Serpents, and DINOSAURS xD. Nice deckprofile, really enjoyed it.

Seems like more and more people are dropping the scrap engine (2-3 scrap raptor and a chimera) and I can't say I'm too sure why. The engine gives some pretty explosive combos and strong endboards. I don't know if its just new toy syndrome or if the engine has been power crept due to consistency issues

I would assume it’s because you can’t get to everything (scraptor, xeno, and rex) in one combo line without drawing a 3 card combo. The scrap stuff has not been power crept. It’s still the best way to best followup/interruption the deck has Bujinki Amaterasu.

I think it’s not that irresponsible to go a little over 40 like 43 with 3 pots which reduces the chances of seeing the giant Rex or the vanilla or UCT in hand when going first while giving you some more consistency but other than that nice list and keep it up!
