Darky and Fishyyy hunt british night bombers in a Bf 110 G-4. Check the end for an awesome light show, we fought over a burning city, light up by searchlights and between thick flak.
I used the Graphics Extender to achieve really dark nights, in order to make it hard to spot the night bombers. The video is way brighter then what we actually saw. Darky and I had to rely on the command and control radar text messages to find the enemies. I actually did not use the animated radar in the back of the plane, but the usual Command and Control text messages. The modder who made this aircraft decided, it would be a good idea to put the radar operator position into the pilot slot. The second human crew member, in the back, cannot actually look at the radar. facepalm

Why does that backseat seem so cozy? I know it probably wouldn't have been living through it, but these videos make multi-crew aircraft just seem so inviting.
from books night fighting never interested me i thought boring.... now thanks to this i am super interested, looks both fun and suspenseful, like on a submarine but faster pace of course
It's like flying a ww2 submarine. This felt like hunting in Silent Hunter 3/4.

Top night fighter Ace was Major Heinz-Wolfgang Schnaufer, 121 victories in 164 sorties. You can see a fully intact BF 110 G-4 with Lichtenstein Radar in the RAF Museum Hendon, London.

The bombers seemed quite alert and often evaded or at least tried to. In the actual war the British gunners often never saw the night fighter before it opened fire.

How did you read the radar??
Incredible atmosphere! You can really feel the vibe of what it must have looked like. This game is so rich! I'm very disapointed I just bought it on steam but it didnt work on my PC with windows 10. The game would launch but then the mouse would not work. I read it's common on modern hardware. Greetings from France!
