But does closing the ball valve stop it from leaking out of the blue bowl near the pads because that liquid is beyond the ball valve.
But yes just run it a little bit to get that out I see what your saying

Correct. Close the Ball Valve. Then spin out the drive deck "bowl" for a few additional seconds to unload the solution that it's holding.
