Amen. Off to a good start for this quarter's lesson. I look forward to it. May God bless us ALL as we study together. Just remember that the study guide is simply that. The Bible is our text. Let us read and study these Psalms with intentionality all through the quarter.

One doesn’t read the word Selah, it’s a music directive, it’s lie reading a comma or a full stop, just pause when you come to the word “selah”

Thank you Annette. Unfortunately I have recorded all the lessons for the quarter, so I expect this mistake will reverberate throughout the series. Sorry about that. Enjoy the wonderful insights into the messages from God in the Psalms though.

That's not entirely correct... Besides it is good to know when the bible author wrote selah - for us to pause also.... we always read selah out loud....

GREAT! Sabbath School lesson is another BIBLE BOOK study. SDA denomination could greatly benefit if a LOT MORE SDA preachers would learn how to do BIBLE BOOK studies/sermon instead of shallow remedial topical sermons....“The MINISTERS must be CONVERTED before they can strengthen their brethren. They should not preach themselves, but Christ and His righteousness. A REFORMATION is needed among the people, but it should first begin its purifying work with the MINISTERS.” 1 T 469
We become overcomers by helping others to overcome. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony. RH 1909
It has often been presented to me that there should be LESS SERMONIZING by MINISTERSs, acting merely as local pastors of churches, and that greater personal efforts should be put forth. Our people should not be made to think that they need to listen to a sermon every Sabbath. Many who listen frequently to sermons, even though the truth be presented in clear lines, LEARN BUT LITTLE. Often it would be more profitable if the Sabbath meetings were of the nature of a Bible-class study. 21 LtMs Lt 192///
