I went on the Meraviglia in December and we were at 30% capacity. It was so relaxing. No lines, no hassle and no worry about being in crowds.
LMAO "DND" means "Do Not Disturb", It tells the cruise staff not to bother you.

The room is nice, the bath is bigger than I expected and although you don't fully love your view, the balcony is amazing. I love getting the look around. It feels like we are there also. Nice to see that the food is good. Seems like MSC is more of an ala carte cruise to keep fares low. Hope you can swim to Nassau and show us the water park again! Thanks for taking us along! The last cruise I went on was in November and it was close to 50% capacity. I loved that! Just enough people but not too many to where we always had a pool chair and didn't have to make reservations. I think less wouldn't be as fun.
When I sailed with MSC last year, there were a few guests who weren't wearing masks. No one, seemed to mind, including the crew.
The DnD button is Do Not Disturb. :)
Italians in Europe were the worst for it, last year !

BTW - you'd have really been disappointed in the pre-COVID muster process. MSC's version here is still significantly less involved than the old method. Which not only had to going to your muster station to meet, but then being taken out on your route to the lifeboats where you then stand outside for 30+ minutes for a presentation and to wait for anyone that refused to attend. They typically wouldn't even go on with the process if the crowd was too loud too. It was an hour+ long process in the past.

Thanks for the video Kyle! Anyone else feel like MSC is like the Spirit or Frontier of cruising? lol Cheaper base prices then up charge for a lot of different things.
My sister and I went on Carnival Glory out of New Orleans. Was suppose tp fly there from Orlando on April 1st but flight was canceled. They set us up to fly out Sat afternoon but didn't leave til after 8 pm because of storm. Got rerouted to Nashville where they canceled flight to New Orleans with no flights available til Tuesday. Luckily my sister found flight to NO and we got there just in time to board the ship.

I'd prefer a non packed cruise. I cruise just to relax and don't need all kinds of excitement. Just want quiet, relaxation without a lot of people, good food and drinks. Enjoy your cruise

I definitely like an empty cruise over a packed one 👍 The room is nice but agree on the carpet - it reminds me of the room I had on my 1st cruise, the life boats were right there but once at sea, the view was still perfect. We cruised the Mediterranean with MSC (Musica) in 2015, the ship was beautiful and the crew were wonderful. Good to see them expanding more into North America.

Hey, I'm from Australia and was looking at booking my first cruise from Florida to the Bahamas and was wondering if it's worth going in December/January as this is the only time of year we can travel? Is it sunny at this time of year and is the water warm enough to swim? Thank you.
I've been researching and watching lots of videos on this cruise. I think the ship and cabins look great. I think we just have to remember that MSC is an Italian line. The basic food package looks good to me, and if I feel like splurging a little for specialty dinning, I could. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your MSC video 👍

I have done two MSC cruises, not my favorite cruise line, however some things they do well is their Pizza and the thermal spa amenities, the food and desserts were lack luster and blah.
Soo funny! Can't wait for Atlantis you have to eat at Nobu and do the lazy river...It is not so lazy..so much fun and tour their amazying three story spa. They also have like an underground cave which connects to the property no charge...part of the hotel. I know you did it before but you only saw half of what it has to offer.

Just stumbled across your video today. Thanks, it was good seeing a nearly empty ship! Have you been able to figure out the Yacht Club thing yet? No one is allowed inside unless they've paid quite a bit extra to be there. So no method allows one admittance to look around the area unless you've paid to do so. I hope that helps you. Cheers.

I did a 7 day balcony Jan 9th on that ship to their private island, Costa Maya and Cozumel. It's the most beautiful ship. Symphony is a close second, Mardi Gras 3rd. I'd sail that ship again in a heartbeat. There were only 472 people on board!

I sailed on the Regal Princess in February and it was 1/2 full, I loved it. I definitely prefer a cruise that is not at 100% capacity.
