    I own a LR3 Discovery. Air suspension is awesome. Self levels when towing our van. Best move anyone can make.

      Airbags have been around for a long time mate, the HBMC system on the patrols is unique and why this has taken a while as no one wanted to mess with the hydraulics. Thanks for watching!

    Great video, one question I have if it's ok
    If they are still testing what GVM and GCM these kits will cover, aren't you basically towing your new van and Y62 uninsured?

      Nope! Just like throwing in a different coil. Just waiting for the final gvm upgrade as it will be a touch higher

    A good informative vid , the positives of the air bags definitely a better ride easy of leveling the package, but the bags look very exposed & easily staked , definitely be would essential to carry spare bag. Driving home with a damaged bag on very rough corrugated track would be out of the question sitting on the bump stops , damage to the Y62 would occur. How are you gvm weight wise 300 kg TBW reduce gvm by 70 kg, 325 kg reduction of 100 kg etc . Heavy TBW can cause rear load issues as well ,caravaners nightmare. Safe travels

      @@Travellingcampers We just test drove a Y62 for the first time today and loved it and we're sold! Now we need to order it and decide on what we need to do set it up for towing a full offroad van. What suspension did you get on the front?

Call the guys at Ontrack 4x4 in Melb, they are the ones that created all the kits and lifts for the patrols. Stoked to see your new one!

    Hello, I need to replace the ball joints on my Patrol Y62 2013 model. Any recommendation for a reliable brands? I've been having trouble finding a good one, except for Roadsafe, which unfortunately only offers front ball joints. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

      @@Travellingcampers Hi, yes exactly. i want to replace all ball joints of front and rear, upper and lower arms.

      @@talalrafeea3023 Get the Ontrack billet front UCA and they also do one for the rear, it eliminates the ball joint so no wearing or squeking, you won't regret it!

      Been running airbags in our van for years mate, worse comes to worse as we covered in the video, tyre plug, absolutely worth run it on the bump stops. Air bags in 4wds aren’t anything new!

      Thanks mate! Sitting level at the ultimate ride height no matter what load. Bigger gvm without having to add extra weight to the car (coming soon) bigger overall gvm ( coming soon ) more flex off-road. The whole car drives completely different in all situations, best mod we done!

    Hi mate how have you managed to keep the gvm upgrade. I'm constantly being told that you can get one with a bag as you can alter heights.

    Interesting but i would like to see how you change a flat even at standard its impossible to match the stud Hight once the suspension has sagged the OEM jack is not fit for purpose without using another jack to lift the control arm

      @@Travellingcampers my car is not lifted and I have air bags with standard spring I found this problem when I tried the tyre change procedure as per the Nissan guide and yes I now carry two bottle jacks and road safe extensions but as mentioned I have not seen a post showing the changing of a tyre
