It’s because our environment forces us to know do it. Unlike for example Germany, France and Spain, we don’t see everything in our own language. For example video games, there was never a “Dutch” option to play the game in or follow the storyline. So we always (by default) had to choose English to play the game and understand what it’s about. The same with movies, the other countries speak the movies in (dub) with their own language, but we watch it in English with subtitles. It’s mainly because Dutch is a very “serious” “business” language😂 nothing sounds really exciting or thrilling when you hear Dutch in action movies, that’s why they leave it the way it is (English sound) and just use subtitles.

I really like the Bourne Identity, but the fighting is absolute BS. They cut everything and almost every move was probably shot separately. If Damon was unable to do it, they should've come up with a different style. In my opinion.

Dude, the first movie is not about realism. It's the matrix after all.
